A MADD, " Walk like mad" rally was held on June 28, Saturday. The Governer of Washington was not present at the rally. Instead she was shown on TV in the lead car of a parade in down town Seattle on Sunday. She was never present for the first annual rememberance day in Olympia in September nor for the first annual MADD rally in Olympia in January. For one of the MADD events she was at a ice hokey rink dedication and she was absent for the MADD event on Saturday but was present for the homosexual parade on Sunday. To where, or whom, are this woman's loyalties to?

Fighting back in Bakersfield!

Here in Bakersfield the city council was cowed by La Raza and their supporters in to not adopting a set of resolutions by Councilman David Couch. The resolutions the 1st was that Bakersfield would have English as the official language of the city. That was approved by a state wide ballot iniative last election. All he wanted to do was have the city council affirm that was the city policy when it came to city business, that English would be used in all offices and city meetings. The second resolution was that the city would not take on the status of a Sanctuary City. Those resolutions were met with screaming hordes from the U.F.W. and La Raza and the Communist left. At any of the readings of the resolutions, the slime crowded in to the council chambers and tried to keep any white from speaking out for those inaitives. The local Mexican language radio stations went as far as to claim that passsage of the English resolution would be a prohibition of Spanish being spoken and any one speaking it would be arrested and deported. Now no where in the resolution was that said, nor implied. Then there are 2 ...

I urge everyone on this list that lives in Washington State read Washington Policy Center's piglet book and then contact your state representatives demanding fiscal responsibility. This report should outrage all hard working Washingtonians. It proves how wasteful and unaccountable our state government is. The Piglet Book may be found here: http://www.washingtonpolicy.org/GovtRegulations/PBPorkBarrel.html

Community colleges board president to step down - favored tuition to illegal immigrants

GOP state senators block the appointment of Kay Albiani because she favored tuition breaks for illegal immigrants. By Patrick McGreevy, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer January 15, 2008 SACRAMENTO -- -- The president of the California Community Colleges board is expected to step down after state Senate Republicans on Monday blocked confirmation of her appointment by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on grounds that she had supported tuition breaks for illegal immigrants. Board President Katherine "Kay" Albiani is the third member of the community colleges board of governors in the last six months to lose her position over the board's controversial vote on illegal immigrants. The Democratic-majority Senate voted 23 to 13 along party lines for her confirmation Monday, but it needed 27 votes to be approved. Albiani, of Elk Grove, Calif., had been serving on the board provisionally under a rule that allows service for up to a year without legislative confirmation. The year ends today, so she will be forced to step down unless the Senate reconsiders, which lawmakers said was unlikely, especially since the full Senate is not meeting today. "Gov. Schwarzenegger stands by his appointment of Kay, and it is unfortunate that the Senate did not confirm her ...

Big Government health care system coming to Calif.

This compromise will be on the ballot in November for the California voters to decide. This has something for everyone to HATE: 1. Illegal aliens can get free heath care covered by state run health system, with ID and State Insurance cards provided by state 2. Tobacco tax of $2.00 per pack, 3. Tax on hospitals 4. California is drowning in debt right now, so let's ADD to that debt to the tune of $14 BILLION? oh, we are not sure how many billions per year, 5. additional taxes to businesses (California is ALREADY not business friendly) 6. this plan is brought to you by politicians who believe the STATE must solve your every problem through CONTROL over your choices, 7. If it happens to California, it spreds to other states rapidly........... http://www.kaisernetwork.org/daily_reports/rep_index.cfm?hint=3&DR_ID=49449 California state finances worse than we thought? http://www.nbc11.com/news/14858065/detail.html
