BACKGROUND: This fall, 89 cities in 33 states across the nation will unite for a unique pro-life campaign called 40 Days for Life -- an intensive effort designed to raise awareness, save lives, bring healing, and prepare America for the beginning of the end of abortion. THE PETITION STATES: To: Attention especially to our local, state, and federal representatives. The Declaration of Independence states, "We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life..........." If the first mentioned of these, "Unalienable Rights," is denied as it is 4000+ times a day in this country by abortion, the rest lose their value. If Life is not protected, what is there of Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness? We have allowed this Holocaust to go on far too long. We have allowed our leaders to brush it aside. We, and they, have allowed the United States Declaration of Independence to be obviously ignored for too long. We have allowed our tax dollars to support organizations such as Planned Parenthood (largest provider of abortion in the U.S.) for far too long funding ...

BACKROUND: "Planned Parenthood activists nationwide get Wal-mart to change its birth control policy" (From plannedparenthood.org) "Walmart changes birth contol policy" (From hattiesburgamerican.com). Wal Mart caved in to pressure from the nation's leading abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, and changed its policy to provide the so called, "Emergency Contraception," which is another name for over the counter abortion. THE PETITION STATES: In the recent past, there was a campaign against Wal Mart for refusing to stock or sell a product called Preven. A letter from a National Organization of Women representative, falsley refers to Preven as an "emergency contraception and claim it is "not an abortion pill." The nature of contraception is to prevent contraception. Wal Mart recently caved into pressure and reversed its former noble stand. Preven causes "a fatally premature expulsion of an embryo (human) ....from the womb." It is an abortion pill regardless of how folks twist the language to make it sound more acceptable. "Emergency contraception" may sound more acceptable than "abortion pill," just as "termination of pregnancy" may sound more acceptable than "killing an unborn baby."
