“On its face, [the DOJ DC v. Heller brief] would appear to be an attempt by the Federal Government to gut the Second Amendment , and thus retain as much power, and simultaneously limit the rights, and thus power, of individual citizens , as much as it can, which is profoundly disturbing, by itself. But the fact that it's coming from the White House is especially problematic, since it means that Mr. Clement's/DOJ's brief carries a considerable amount of weight.” (David Crane, Defense Review. 1/17/2008) http://www.defensereview.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1088 {click} Sign the Petition today! http://www.savethesecond.com/ “The gun control agenda is based on the view that ordinary citizens cannot be trusted to use the physical power of arms responsibly. But a people that cannot be trusted with guns cannot be trusted with the much more dangerous powers of self-government. The gun control agenda is thus an implicit denial of the human capacity for self-government and is tyrannical in principle.” ( Alan Keyes for President 2008!!! ) “ Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. ...

For immediate release: Grassroots effort to support Alan Keyes for President . Our country is in moral turmoil. We have been lead away from the principles and values that made America a great nation. We are on a path to global socialism or communism. We the people need a leader to turn us back to the principles of our American Constitution. Keyes told Janet Parshall, host of a nationally syndicated radio show, that he's "unmoved" by the lack of moral courage shown by the other candidates, among whom he sees no standout who articulates the "key kernel of truth that must, with courage, be presented to our people." He added, " The one thing I've always been called to do is to raise the standard . . . of our allegiance to God and His authority that has been the foundation stone of our nation's life "--and he decried the lack of "forthright, clear, and clarion declaration" from the other candidates concerning this issue. As a result, Keyes said, " We're putting together an effort that's not going to be like anything before, because it's going to be entirely based on citizen action. We're going to be challenging people to ...

1980s Amnesty Bill of Goods - US Government Lied!

Mr. President (An Open Letter) ENFORCE OUR LAWS! Why do we need more immigration laws when we don’t enforce the ones we have? The only answer can be that you wish to legalize the current law breaking. Turn anarchy into law by legalizing it. We have been down this road in the 1980s, and were sold a bill of goods on the promise that after amnesty the laws would be enforced and we wouldn’t have to face this problem again. . . well, they lied! Here we are again. We do not need “sweeping reform”, we need to 1) SECURE THE BORDER, 2) ENFORCE THE LAW! It really is just that simple. “Border security? Why should we believe the government will enforce border security with this bill any more than they have with already existing laws? Border agents, now federal prisoners, Ramos and Campeon, are living proof that our government doesn't want a secure border with Mexico. . . The bill also reduces the 700-mile border fence already passed into law to 350 miles. The rest would be an electronic "virtual fence" so the government can sit and watch the illegals as they flood across the ...

Please take a moment to email a polite letter of support to US Airways as they come under the attack of Islam. Mick Dobra http://mdcyguy.blogspot.com/2006/11/head-scarf-beatings-or-airport.html From http://www.americancongressfortruth.org/ Liz Landau Corporate Communications | US Airways email: elizabeth.landau@usairways.com Letter to US Airways We thank US Airways for taking strong action for our mutual security in the confrontation with the six imams on November 21, 2006. We thank you for protecting us, your customers, the American people while flying on your airline. The simple fact that you were so vigilant and took action when you felt danger, earned you a special loyalty in the American people's hearts. We remind US Airways that the resulting law suit against them is no ordinary suit that may be settled simply to minimize their costs. The outcome of this case will be a defining moment in the way, we as Americans respond to terror tactics as a society and as individuals. We are prepared to support US Airways in the court of public opinion and with our loyal patronage if US Airways takes a strong stand in this encounter with Islamic jihad. We are also prepared to denounce US Airways publicly and to boycott ...

Free Speech

This is a devotional I wrote for my blog Prayer Team : Boldly proclaim the Gospel in times of great joy as well as times of trouble. Times are changing in Europe, Canada, and America. Proclaiming the truth of Scripture is becoming more difficult and culturally unacceptable. Most recently are concerns in Europe that new Sexual Orientation Regulations will discriminate against Christians as they have in Canada, “Christians have voiced their alarm at what affect their coming into being will have on their freedom to live according to their faith”, especially as hate laws are being stretched to include unpopular (subjectively considered hateful) speech (Mackay). Case in point, 2/1/2007: a British Columbia City Council member is being forced to pay fines and make public apologies for saying “that homosexual acts were ‘not normal and not natural’” (Thomas), and 1/30/2007: Catholic adoption agencies in the U.K. will be forced to adopt to same-sex couples or shut down (Mackay). It should be obvious that there is increasing hostility toward teachings of the Gospel. How will we react? Devotion It can be easy to let culture box in our faith. We can all to easily stay silent when speaking out becomes uncomfortable or ...

So Pelosi can travel in style! We need our taxes raised to accommodate our liberal tyrants! . . . and to pay for Nancy Pelosi’s private Air Force One jet to shuttle her “ilk” around the world in style! Pelosi is demanding a plane that includes 42 business class seats, a fully-enclosed state room, an entertainment center, a private bed and a crew of 16. Aides to Pelosi argue she needs the larger plane because she wants to be able to take other members of California’s congressional delegation, family members, staff and supporters with her on trips, and wants to be able to make the trip non-stop coast-to-coast. Poor, Nancy – how awful it must be for her to stop to refuel in those “red states” in “flyover country” on the way home to San Francisco! Believe it or not, last week Pelosi even requested a plane to fly from Washington D.C. to Williamsburg, Virginia, for the House Democrats’ retreat -- a mere 150 miles. What would Al Gore say? Speaking to the Washington Times, a source in the Department of Defense termed Pelosi’s request “carte blanche,” suggesting that she wants a plane capable of carrying an entourage just like ...
