Economy disaster

Why aren't politicians using their brains? (Oh I forgot they don't have any! ) Prices are going up on EVERYTHING and talk of gasoline being $4.00 p/g by summer mostly because of another tax hike per gallon. If they drop the interest rate again we are setting up for inflation rise and what good would lower interest rates do anyway? There is no money to buy anything extra- look at the housing market....with lower rates whoopi! you'll be able to get a cheaper mortgage but what good would that do if your dollar still buys less at the grocery store or gas station? All politicians can do is blame Exxon ( the new "n" word) albeit that very few people understand the vast difference between profit and profit margin , ECON 101 Instead would it not make sense to forgive all taxes on gasoline for awhile? That would benefit everybody! Lower transportation costs means price drops everywhere including in the construction industry to then build the houses (people working again! another benefit) in order to make use of the lower interest rates on mortgages. The monies being "reward to us good citizens" in order to jump start the economy- what a farce.....I am stupified as ...

Public Airways?

All or most that address the Fairness Doctrine issue, always mention "public airways." Can anybody tell me when and how the public acquired the airways? As far as I know, the public/government never, ever paid any money or signed a decree pertaining to actually ownership of the airways. When Hertz, Marcone et al did what they did, did Joe Public jump up and pay via tax dollars?

Don't give up people! this is only the second battle (first last cloture vote)- the war will go on- this may pass in the Senate eventually but from my read and contacts it has slim to no hope of passing in the House- as it is, they are much more vulnerable in elections there anyway- 4yr turn over. So find out who the dumb-asses are that screwed up today and bombard with communiques. Richard Burr NC is one of them. When emailing him use a NC zip code either 28401 or 27804 both where he has offices in NC. We need to keep going like the pink bunny! We can't win every battle but sure as hell can win the war!

Divide and Conquer!

Time to list and encamp ALL the politicians that support "Amnesty" under one name, one "roof," target them in order to create a massive PR problem for their offices. We know which politicians are listening to "WE the People" the rest need to either come around or be gone! We need to stop functioning under state by state mentality when it comes to Federal issues such as Immigration- how Teddy, Reid, Pelosi, Mccain, Spectre, Levin et al support and vote on bills, affects EVERYBODY in the nation not just their states......and why were there a few Senators that didn't vote yesterday? That's "no representation" of their states...... Any ideas any one?
