Help Stop Unsafe Mexicon Trucks

E-mail Notice from the Teamsters Union: We need your help! Today the U.S. House of Representatives will consider H.R. 6630, a bill that would prohibit the Secretary of Transportation from allowing unsafe Mexican trucks to cross beyond the borders of the currently permitted commercial zone unless Congress authorizes it. This important piece of legislation would put a stop to the dangerous Mexican truck pilot program that the Department of Transportation (DOT) has been operating despite Congress already passing a law last year that made it illegal to do so. A clear message needs to be sent to the DOT that they are not above the law and that allowing Mexican trucks and drivers onto our nation's highways that are not held to the same safety standards as our own trucks and drivers is completely unacceptable. The passage of H.R. 6630 will send that message. Please take the time to send an e-mail to your representative today and urge him or her to vote for H.R. 6630. Send a letter to the following decision maker(s): Your Congressperson Below is the sample letter: Subject: Put a Stop to Unsafe Mexican Trucks Dear [decision maker name automatically inserted here], I am writing to urge ...

The most despicable acts of deceit ongoing in this country... are the lies and hypocrisy... perpetrated by the people seen in this short video. Here's a video compilation you definitely won't see on main stream media. The next time you hear the expression 'Bush's war' remember this video .
Very interesting ad in the Washington Post - worth reading!

This was e-mailed to me. A private citizen paid $104,655 for this ad in the Washington Post. It's long but very well written and says alot about how many of us feel. Thought it was worth passing on. A $104,655.60 Ad in the Washington Post Here is someone with the money to fund a rebuttal to what Howard Dean, Democratic National Committee Chairman, said recently that many Republican have never done an honest day's work in their life. The following full page ad was placed in the Washington Post by a businessman named George J. Esseff, Sr. He paid $104,655.60 to run the ad and only did it because he is sick and tired of the way that 'the rich' are portrayed by liberals these days. It is a great read. Maybe you're a Republican? In today's America ask a growing number of high school and college students, their teachers and professors, the self-anointed media elite and/or hard working men and women of all ethnicities, the question, 'What is a Republican?' and you'll be told '... a rich, greedy, egotistical individual, motivated only by money and the desire to accumulate more and more of it, at the expense of ...

Secret Service Opinions-Air Force 1 and It's Passengers

Received this e-mail and just had to pass it along. It's quite an interesting eye opener from an insider's point of view of past presidents and a possible future one. I flew 4 Presidential support missions in the C-141 out of Dover AFB, DE.. Two for President Johnson and two for President Nixon. Johnson was a first class jerk and on the two occasions I flew for him, if the Secret Service and their Liaison in the Pentagon hadn't intervened, we would have had to stay on the airplane for hours while he (Johnson) was off somewhere. Nixon never required that and in the four (4) stops we made with him he was cordial to the Secret Service and to me and my crew. We had a neighbor when I lived in DC who was part of the secret service presidential detail for many years. His stories of Kennedy and Johnson were the same as those I heard from the guys who flew the presidents' plane. Yes, Kennedy did have Marilyn Monroe flown in for secret 'dates,' and LBJ was a ...

Would you believe it if we told you that the U.S. House of Representatives voted to raise the price you pay for gasoline at the pump and -- at the same time -- give a huge tax break to that America-hating dictator Hugo Chavez ? Well, that is exactly what our so-called elected leaders-- led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her liberal colleagues in the House -- just did. In common parlance, we call that a "twofer" and as unbelievable as it may sound, Pelosi and company have yet again proved that they have never met a socialist tyrannical despot thatthey did not like ! Here's what happened. Last week, the House passed H.R. 5351 , a bill that will jack up the prices that you and I pay at the pump for gasoline through the imposition of an $18 billion dollar tax increase ! Then they turned around and EXEMPTED HUGO CHAVEZ'S STATE-RUN OIL COMPANY, CITGO, FROM THE TAX ! Investor's Business Daily put it this way in an editorial on Friday titled, "Tax Cut for Hugo:" "It goes to show that Congress is more willing to empower dictators than to get serious about America's energy supply." You remember ...

Got this in an e-mail today. Just had to pass it along! Sorry, I don't know how to change the font size to make it smaller. The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Kaye from GA. This guy should run for President one day. NEW PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION "We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights." ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything. ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended. ...
