Bobb Barr , might throw his hat in the ring, as a Libertarian

I received this letter after contacting is website. Dear Fellow Conservative, I'm writing you today with the most important news I could ever share with you. After years of frustration watching the Republican Party rack up a $10 Trillion national debt while doing nothing to cut spending it is obvious that the Republican Party is simply no longer serious about representing the conservative-libertarian economic philosophy of my former boss, President Ronald Reagan. I am deeply disappointed to see President Bush put forward a $3.1 Trillion budget, while vetoing hardly any spending bills during nearly eight years in office. For those of us who had hoped for a true conservative to win the GOP nomination, I'm afraid that hasn't happened either; as Senator John McCain has locked up that Party's nomination. As a consequence, many dedicated conservatives and advocates of limited, constitutional government have lost all remaining hope in restoring true conservatism to the Republican Party. That's why after many weeks of careful consideration, intense thought and prayer, I have formed an www%2ebobbarr2008%2ecom&g=0&f... color="#0000ff">official exploratory committee for President of the United States under the banner of the Libertarian Party. My fellow conservative, before you put this letter down and say ...

DO YOU HEAR THE GIANT SUCKING SOUND : Bush Pushes New Trade Agreements

Mr. Bush is determined to pass another four Free Trade Agreements before he leaves office. Are we going to hear more of that giant sucking sound Ross Perot spoke of when N.A.F.T.A. was being passed? Mr Clinton told us N.A.F.T.A. would be a win, win policy for the U.S. Will trade agreements with Panama, Peru, Columbia, South Korea, help American Factory Workers and Farmers, or will we see our store shelves filled with more imports. Food from Panama, Peru, Columbia, and manufactured goods from South Korea.

Should Christians Leave Christianity at Home, When Posting

Most threads are written in a secular format. Is it proper to comment on those threads, from a christian perspective, would that be off topic. If one takes his/her christanity seriously we tend to express that at all times. Public Policy, Foreign Policy and Constitutional Issues are almost always reported in the secular media without a christian perspective. Should we just except that a the way things are, or insist that christianity has biblical solutions to these problems. Would it be off topic to bring a christian point of view into context of the thread.

If You Make It In China Sell It In China

IF YOU MAKE IT IN CHINA SELL IT IN CHINA With a 300 Billion Trade Deficit should the United States begin to add a tariff on third world products being imported by retailers? Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Home Depot and the retail giants in the U.S. are having a profit bonanza importing products made in the third world, and selling them to consumers in the U.S. It’s almost impossible to find a Power Tool, or any other product in the building trades made in the United States, or anything else for that matter. The trend seems to be, close your factory in the U.S., relocate in a third world country, build a high tech, state of the art factory, employ .40 cent an hour work force and export back the American, and European market at huge profits. China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia is a never ending supply of cheap well educated labor. How could that possibly be good for American Workers. The Trade Deficit translates into 3 million lost American Jobs. 14.3 Americans working in manufacturing, the lowest since 1950. Isn’t this trend counterproductive wouldn’t it destroy the very market they want to sell in. Are we just destined to become another ...

Robert Zoellick- replaced Paul Wolfowitz as President of the World Bank

I am always amazed at how these Global Elites takes care of their own. George Bush just appointed Robert Zoellick to replace the scandalous Paul Wolfowitz. Robert Zoellick along with Susan Schwab has been the negotiators of these Outsourcing Agreements they are calling Free Trade. The job pays $300,000.00 a year tax free. Not bad for betraying your countrymen. What other motive could Mr.Bush have for this appointment.

Is Hugo Chavez Friend or Foe

I have noticed that any nation that has a tendency to have a strong Nationalist persuasion seems to be rejected, and labeled "enemy" by the Media and Washington. Hugo Chavez has nationalized Venezuela's oil reserves, and major industries, but offered to sell the U.S. oil for $50 a barrel, that would lower prices at the pump by about a dollar a gallon. Bush flatly rejected the offer, I wonder why? Foreign investment began to trimble weeks before this happened. The only thing I can see he has done is attempt to redistribute some of the wealth to the poor, and kick the international bankers out, and return some of the wealth back to the people. If Africa would have done that years ago, during the colonialization period their wealth would have remained in Africa, instead of the British, French, German and Portuguese bank accounts. The old wealth of Europe which is probably invested in Latin America today.
