I would also like to thank you Mr. Elliott for assisting my beautiful wife Monica in her efforts as she continues to travel the country to garner support and spread the word of our plight. She continues to work so hard day and night to come up with different ideas to get more atention and support. She has been my strength, my rock through this past year. Knowing she has been out there for me, fighting for me, waiting for me has meant more than the world. ...

Sorry it has taken me some time to respond to you all. I've just learned my last day of work will be September 30th. This is not completely unexpected, and thanks to the wonderful support I continue to receive from Grassfire, my family and I will be okay. I want to thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for everything you all have done for us. Grassfire and the millions of supporter have done an amazing job in fighting for my husband and Agent Compean. We could not have made it without Grassfire and the many team members who have supported us both spiritually and financially. Our families could never have done it alone. As far as Nacho he is doing as best as can be expected. He remains resilient and head strong--uplifted by the thousand of letters he still receives from friends. Having him transferred to FCI Phoenix has made a huge difference. The Warden and the staff have been wonderful to my family and me and have been very professional in handling matters in a timely manner. We are so blessed with being able to see him weekly. As you can imagine things are just alittle bit crazy what with the announcement that I will have to find another job, very soon. The company that I work for is about to be sold and will be relocating out of state. So as we are all saying here, "Our days are numbered." Aside from my job, this is a difficult time for the family. It is our first summer without Ignacio, and it just doesn't feel right without him. With the kids being out of school, there is more time to focus on their dad, and I can see in their eyes how much they miss him--as do I. I started to think back to January of the missed moments he has had so far--moments that he'll never get back. The list below doesn't count the moments he lost while he served 8 months under House Arrest with an ankle monitor strapped to his leg. I do also want to thank everyone for their incredible support throughout this terrible ordeal. I'm prayerful that it will soon end and Ignacio will be returned, and our family can be whole ...

Nacho has been so moved by the many letters, cards, and notes that he has been receiving from so many Grassfire team members. He has sent me many of the letters people write him expressing how they have really touched his heart. He feels like he has been adopted by so many wonderful people that continue to write and lift his spirits. Nearly every day he receives prayers, jokes, paperback books, and even pictures. What he often asks me for though is updated information because as everyone knows he does not have television privileges or phone with the exception of his one call every 30 days, so it is difficult to keep up with daily news unless it is mailed to him. I would ask for a favor; if by chance you come across a good article please feel free to send it his way. He would love to know what is happening daily. I try to send him as much as I can, but there are only so many hours in ...

He loves you for it. Ignacio Ramos #58079-180 FCI Yazoo City Medium Federal Correctional Institution P.O. Box 5888 Yazoo City, MS 39194 Dear Mr. Elliott, I would like to express my deepest thanks and gratitude to you and the Grassfire organization for your continued support and efforts in keeping the case of Mr. Compean and myself in the public eye. Along with your timeless efforts on the internet, you have been able to stretch out throughout the United States via radio and television informing even more Americans of the travesty that our families have been going through for almost 2 ½ years now. Along with your organizations support, I would like to thank each individual Grassfire team member that has recently taken the time to write me. It was very heartwarming to receive so many letters recently. Some vented frustration, some sent jokes, ...

Since he is in Special Housing Unit (SHU) he is only allowed one call every 30 days for just 15 minutes! This has been so hard to accept. On the day I went to see him he was able to make a 15 minute call to my children as I was headed back from Mississippi. My kids took that opportunity to finally sing Happy Birthday to him, but in the middle of singing, the phone disconnected--and we haven't heard from him since. You know I don't quite understand. ... If he is in the SHU for his protection, why must he suffer the same as those who were put in there for violations while in general population. I am happy to report though that he finally has full motion in his arm that was severely injured during his assault. CLICK HERE + + + Hello, everyone. Today is a very sad day for my children and I. Today is Nacho's birthday and we have not heard from him since the middle of last week. My 7 year-old remembered this morning and asked if we could buy their dad a cake and still celebrate. We are hopeful that he will get an opportunity to call us tonight, because the boys would like to sing to him. I told him that we could celebrate and they could blow out his candles for him. I am trying to make flight arrangements to go see him, but the tickets are running $1,300. for the 4 of us. I will do everything I can to make sure we get up there. I do want to thank you all very much for the continued support. We are planning on having a motorcylce rally here in EL Paso for my husband and Jose Compean on February 18th. I would love to meet Grassfire team members who can come down and sow their support. You can get more information by going to americanfreedomriders.com Thank you again for your great support. ...

I just returned from a planning meeting for a huge bike rally here in El Paso, Texas, on February the 18 th benefiting both my husband, Ignacio and Mr. Compean. Many of you are wondering how my husband and Mr. Compean are doing on this their 16 th day in prison. Each has been moved out of state. The news is not good. I have heard from my husband and since being moved, conditions are worse as he is in general population. I am not sure if Mr. Compean is in general population as well, but I am very concerned for their safety. Right now he is not fully processed so he can't make a phone call for about another two weeks. Thankfully, one counselor let him make one call to me and sent me the forms to organize a visitation as soon as possible. He didn't sound very good to me. He told me that ...
