He&amp;#39;s not an American, he doesn&amp;#39;t have a son serving in the military, and as far as I know he has no direct connection with Iraq or anyone living there. Why would he be concerned? Because he&amp;#39;s a thinking man, and he understands 2 things. 1 - The conflict in Iraq is not just about Iraq or America, it has far reaching implications that will play out on the scene of world history for generations to come. It&amp;#39;s everyone&amp;#39;s concern. 2 - The situation is beyond a political or military solution. The strongest nation in the world has thrown everything they have at it twice, and it&amp;#39;s still a huge quagmire. Only prayer will make a difference. Reading his letter stirred me to action. I felt the current military push for Baghdad needed a corresponding spiritual push to undergird the effort there, and bring about the peace that we all want.
