Petition: Senate Chaplain--Stop Religious Bigotry

Background: Roll Call reports that under pressure from the far-left Americans United for Separation of Church And State, Senate Chaplain Barry Black has withdrawn a commitment to speak at a conference sponsored by Coral Ridge Ministries and the Center for Reclaiming America. While Chaplain Black says he was misled into thinking this was a non-partisan event, this is clearly an example of religious bigotry as the new regime in Congress imposes its partisan control. For example, Chaplain Black had willingly appeared on the far-left radio network Air America broadcast by the Inter-Faith Alliance . Petition States: As a concerned citizen I am petitioning Senate Leader Reid and Senate Chaplain Black to apologize for the embarrassing withdrawn commitment to speak at the Center for Reclaiming America conference. The chaplain's office should not be used as a tool by left-leaning groups and their agenda. Sign the petition, then call the Chaplain's office : 202-224-2510

Petition: Public Libraries--Stop Internet Porn Access!

Backgrounder: The Sacramento Public Library has found a way to bypass the Child Internet Protection Act. While the library has filters installed (per the Child Online Protection Act), the library allows adults to bypass the filters -- even for computers in public areas where children are exposed. Recently, Sacramento rejected pleas by parents to keep porn off all library computers. Additional resources: WND , KCRA-TV . Petition States: Our tax dollars should not be funding access to porn in our libraries and creating a dangerous climate for our children. We are petitioning the Sacramento Public Library -- and other libraries tempted to take such action -- to keep anti-porn filters active on computers and prohibit open access to pornography on the library's public computers.
