Bill has an M.B.A. and is a  CFP(R). He grew up in Chicago and was an activist in the same mean streets of the South Side as Obama. Like Obama, he was recognized and greeted by thousands of youths. Unlike Obama, Bill received a letter of commendation from President Reagan for his work. Like Obama, when the day was done, they both returned to their homes in white neighborhoods.

After being chief of a mortar crew, Bill trained troops during 'Nam as NCOIC of testing and evaluation at a Division HHC.

 A long time member of MENSA, he was selected to be a facilitator at the MENSA National Symposium on Education.

He made the Guinness Book of World Records for a canoe stunt and once held a NHRA National Speed/Time record.
