I am a news reporter in northern Michigan who has long covered law enforcement and the courts - and I usually support the actions of both groups.

I have covered cops and courts for over 30 years in Georgia and Michigan.

It's a shame that a Texas federal prosecutor is throwing cops in jail for doing their job - especially in the wake of 9-11.

 I am also the volunteer media advisor for an amazing environmental organization called the Earth Keeper Initiative  and we are planning our third annual clean Sweep this Earth Day, April 21.
