I am a "domestic engineer", with 3 grown children and now two grandchildren.  I've lived all over the country chasing after my husbands jobs. I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs but prefer to call Tennessee home.  So, presently am living in Gainesboro, TN near my youngest son who has just enlisted into the Marine Corps.  My daughter lives in South Carolina with my two baby grandsons.

I lived on one border, the US/Candian border of Blaine, WA. So, I am quite familar with border issues.  Managed an espresso stand at the border crossing.  Got to know quite a few border patrol agents and customs agents at that time. But that was some years ago.
