Steve Elliott and I actually met on a baseball field. Who would have known then that years later, we would be playing an instrumental role in giving grassroots conservatives a real voice on the critical issues facing our nation today! I certainly wouldn't have thought so.

After joining Grassfire in 2002, I really didn't know what to expect, or where the ride would lead. Now some 5 years later, I am simply amazed at the growth of Grassfire, and how we've been able to make a positive and profound impact on a number of key issues in such a short time!

Serving as the Director of Communications for Grassfire affords me a great opportunity to serve our team. In addition to researching and writing, I am a frequent guest on radio stations around the nation where I can amplify the Grassfire message to millions more citizens. But one of the great joys of my job is that I have the honor of representing our team through petition presentations and meetings with key policymakers. Over the years I've presented more than 25 million petitions to leaders on Capitol Hill!

The launching of FireSociety is simply another incredible tool to rally, communicate and mobilize citizens who share my passion for protecting and preserving those things that have made our nation great!

I am eager to see this next generation of Grassfire truly change the world in which we live!
