Fox News Channel reported that Saxby won, however in GA, the law states he had to have 50% of the votes +1, and he had 49%, which forced him into a runoff on Dec. 2.  Jim Martin is the Dem candidate and Obama's thugs are in GA trying to steal this vote for Martin as well to win the majority of seats in the Senate.  The Senate races in Alaska and in Minnesota are not yet decided, and there is no runoff.  Dems already have 57 of 60 seats needed to have the majority (they already own the House and Pres.).  If Saxby loses, it will most likely give the Dems the 60 seats as the seats in Minnesota and Alaska just might go to Dems (though we know there is cheating going on in Franken's camp).  If the Dems gain the Senate then Obama's radical left agenda will most likely be voted in.

So everyone please make sure anyone you know in GA knows that there is a runoff on Dec. 2, Tues. after Thanksgiving.  You can vote absentee (request form from GA secretary of state office), early, and advance.  Get with your county Republican office or www.Saxby.org for further information.  Many Georgians do not know there is a runoff because Fox News said Chambliss had won on election night.  The campaign needs volunteers to make calls to get out the vote (easy to do - I volunteered last week).  We cannot let Jim Martin, who is in lockstep with Obama, win!  We need to re-elect Saxby, he still holds onto core American values.

If you haven't noticed the dems will have 60. you have to count the butt kissing/sucking McCain, Martinez, Graham. It doesn't matter at this point. McSuck will lead the charge to do the dems bidding on every piece of legislation and with his tag-alongs, they will beg the dems to be the first to vote YES on every piece of legislation.

Time to clean house. Saxby needs to go. Voted for the bail-out. he's been corrupted. I say let him go, and try to just hang on for 2 years.

Steve P. in Florida, Saxby voted for the bailout and his opponent, Jim Martin, at first wanted more money then the $700 billion, then he changed his mind.  Saxby is firmly against amnesty to illegal aliens and his opponent Martin is in lockstep with Obama and his frightening liberal agenda.  Saxby's opponent voted for the largest tax increase in GA history.  Georgia remains a red state and most Georgians hold on to conservative values.

Saxby was for the amnesty package. His constituents let him know how they felt. He changed his position. Perhaps, I am being too simple here, but I admire a Congressman that listens to his voters. I also hold Rep. Phil Gingrey in the highest of opinions.

As to the runoff--will my wife and I vote for Saxby???

As Sarah would say---you betcha!!!!!

Mr. Bill... exactly!  Saxby listens to his constituents, and Phil is the same way!  I always get correspondence back from him.  I took petitions against amnesty to Saxby's and to Johnny Isakson's offices (Grassfire petitions!) before the amnesty vote and they did listen to us! Met with Johnny but Saxby was in S. GA at the time.  Was in on anti-amnesty protests outside Saxby's office as well.  Yes, he does listen!

There are rallies in Atlanta and around the state through the weekend.  Check out his web site and the Georgia GOP web site.  Early voting has begun and advance voting begins next week.  Absentee ballots need to be requested and completed ASAP.  Mitt Romney is stumping for Saxby tomorrow in Buckhead and in Savannah in the afternoon.

Remaining Georgia Race Could Decide AMNESTY

Friday, November 21, 2008 10:03 AM
From:
To:

Friends of ALIPAC,

Obama, Senator Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi are very close to having the 60 votes they need in the US Senate to pursue almost any radical agenda, including restrictions on free speech and AMNESTY for illegal aliens.

Those of you that stood with us when we defeated versions of Amnesty in the US Senate several times in 2006 and 2007 will remember how important 60 Cloture votes are!

These bills with misleading titles such as "Comprehensive Immigration Reform", "Guest Worker Programs". "Temporary Worker Programs", or whatever they rename it because the public despises the legislation as soon as they learn what they mean.

We have defeated them before and we must defeat them again!

The math in the Senate is very close!

We know that John McCain has promised Obama to bring him 3-6 Republican votes for several components of his agenda including Amnesty. The three Republican Senators most likely to support Obama are John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Mel Martinez (R-FL).

The good news is there are at least 2 Democrats that will not vote for Amnesty.

That is why your immediate support is needed for our endorsed candidate in Georgia!

THE FATE OF AMNESTY MAY BE DECIDED ON DEC. 2 IN THE GEORGIA US SENATE RUNOFF!

We need ALIPACers across the nation responding quickly.

We need...

1. Votes: We need every ALIPAC supporter in GA gearing up to vote for Saxby Chambliss on Dec. 2 and to bring everyone you can with you to the polls.

2. Volunteers: Obama is sending 100 of his top field operatives into Georgia. Most are already deployed. Please visit the link below and volunteer for Saxby Chambliss. Volunteers from Georgia and any other state are needed.

3. Donations: The Democratic National Committee and other far left groups are targeting this race to establish supremacy in the Senate. Please use the link below to donate to Saxby Chambliss's campaign.

To learn more about, volunteer, and contribute visit this link...

http://www.saxby.org/
Saxby Chambliss has an A rating from our friends at Better Immigration...
Chambliss's opponent, Jim Martin, supports "comprehensive immigration reform" and "legalized status" (AMNESTY) for the vast majority of illegal aliens  as indicated on his website.

Senator Chambliss has spoken directly with ALIPAC's President William Gheen and has vowed he will vote against any legislation containing any form of Amnesty for illegal aliens, including Cloture votes. Senator Chambliss has stated he will stand with our friend Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) on these issues.

We need a full mobilization of votes, volunteers, and donations, into the Chambliss campaign immediately.

I attended the rally last week in which John McCain spoke up for and endorsed Saxby.  He also talked about getting the vote out so the Dems don't get the seats they need to push Obama's liberal agenda.  John McCain is not in lock-step with Obama as is Saxby's opponent, Jim Martin.

I attended a rally this morning to which Mitt Romney attended.  He has endorsed Saxby.  Giuliani is supposed to come next week and it's looking like Sarah Palin may be coming some time as well.

Georgia needs Saxby and so does our country.  As for the several Repubs who may vote on liberal issues, those people in those states need to be contacting their Senators when important legislation is about to be voted on.  I did this for the amnesty bill last year, and Saxby listened.

Georgia Conservatives-- Don't SIT THIS ONE OUT--as they say that many conservatives did in the President election.

You'll be doing a dis-service to your party and the country.

Saxby may not be the best--but he is what we have !

Absolutely... we do not want the Dems controlling all branches of government when Ruth Bader Ginsburg retires and Obama puts an ACLU-type justice in the Supreme Ct.

The biggest point is to avoid the Dems getting the super majority, filabuster proof, 60 seats.  I know there are some boys and girls who put an R after their name that we cannot count on but I also believe (and pray I am right) that there are a few on the other side of the isle that will listen to their constitutients when a hard vote is necessary.

Shamnesty is sure to come up again early

The Fairness Doctrine

and the Global Poverty Act of 2007 will destroy our sovereignty if it passes.

I was really pleased to see Chambliss win, and hope Coleman pulls it out too.

I hope SCOTUS will take the Presidency away from Obama.  Probably mean Hillary will win by default.  She is probably behind all of these law suits.

It is gonna be an anxious two years.
