U.S. Congress Pennsylvania 16th District Candidate (Constitution Party )

Hello All,

I am new here and wanted to introduce myself and also share the news of my candidacy for PA's 16th Congressional District as a Constitution Party candidate.

Dan Frank is running for U.S. Congress 16th District

Lancaster, PA - Constitution Party member Dan Frank is announcing his candidacy for U.S. Congress in the 16th Congressional District. Dan and his volunteers have collected signatures from residents of the Lancaster area in support of his nomination. Individuals and several local organizations have responded with support and substantial signatures more than sufficient to place him on the ballot for the November 4, 2008 general election. The Constitution Party is America's fastest-growing and largest third party based on voter registrations (Ballot Access News).

A former Republican, Dan, like many, realized that the difference between the two parties is getting harder to distinguish each year. "The GOP, the so-called conservative party, has racked up record spending deficits, refused to secure our borders, increased government intrusion, and sponsors policies that send jobs off-shore," Dan continues, "while the Democrats, the so-called party of the working man, have shown many of the same characteristics, which of course coincide with the party's mantra of more taxes and big government." The latest NBC/WSJ poll has Congress's job approval rating at 13 percent.

Dan Frank sees these underlining issues along with elitism in Washington D.C. as motivations to run for office. According to Dan, "Keeping jobs in America is my top priority." He adds, "I have spoken with many in this area who are concerned of losing their jobs, or have lost jobs, and now an economy in turmoil has rightfully elevated their concerns. It is obvious to me only multi-national corporations and special interest are represented in D.C., not all citizens." Dan has made a pledge, which he intends on keeping, that if elected, his votes will have to meet the Constitutionality threshold and benefit all citizens, not a selected few. In addition, he will only serve four terms.

Dan has also spoken out on property rights, gun ownership, and sovereignty, as well as advocating free-market in energy.

I think many people are fed up with this two party domination of our government. Actually , I am plain sick of it. The two have blended into one entity influenced to the hilt by elitists IMO. We all make our own beds but when taxpayers are enabling control by the few, the special interests, the lobbyists and the revolving door of politics in America something smells rotten and has gone way beyond being out of control. 

We have got to start somewhere and it is way overdue. 

Thank You 700club! I couldn't agree more, the two parties have been completely highjacked for the most part by CFR elites. We MUST start taking this country back, as someone in another post; we are perhaps seeing the last nails being hammered in to this Republic. Please support ALL Constitutional-Minded folks, regardless of parties, but in my heart of hearts, I know we need Independent Candidates that are not beholden to their corporate party master. If possible, please support independent candidates!

I'm not a moderator here but would like to point out there are some rules about seeking "donations" within a post etc. I cannot honestly say anyone would point that out. Just a heads up since it would be a shame if good intentions are spoiled.

Got it and thanks! I guess it is obvious Independents need all the help and support they can get.

Hi Dan, it's good to see you again. I sent your website to all I know up there in Pa hoping they would send out your name and get you elected for the 16th district. I hope it helps in your quest to become a Senate Member and a well needed one.

I'm not a part of the CP, but I am not against it either as we have talked before. I can only hope that my cousin's and my 2nd. cousins, plus some others I emailed will do justice for you as they were interested when I talked to them.

Your welcome Dan. Ya know, 700club said something about if he knew people in Pa. Your right 700, house cleaning is a must. The Constitution should have never been able for ammendments. If it were adhered to what it states, then We The People would still be controlling Washington.

It's been out of hand since Abraham Lincoln. It will take that long to get back to it. Pa. is predominantley voting in a Presidential bid that is very tight...Neck in neck as a matter of fact. 48 for McCain and 48 for Osama. That isn't good. I think if Dan can get elected, it would be just what that part of Pa. needs. A real Conservative, but you know what the main stream media put's up on CNN, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, and Fox will show it fair and square, even though they have transitioned it into a 2 Party Race.

My point though is Dan made a breakthrough on NBC. Good going Dan! I am sick of all the rhetoric and this is who's for this and whos for that, etc. We don't know what you are for, so I will look forward to tuning in on that just one particular show. I am boycotting them along with the one's that I stated above except FOX. One thing I do kow is that you stand behind the Constitution and that's a great thing. The most important thing along with the Bill of Rights as it WAS!

You are right Dan...Constitutional like minded people, not like the people that tore up the Republican Convention. I was shocked to see how those people acted out in violence. Your gonna do alright I think.
