Islam is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In it's fullest form, it is a complete, total, 100% system of life.
Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other components.
Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well. Here's how it works.
As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

Plant Drops Labor Day For Muslim Holiday
More Than Half Of Tyson Plant's Workforce Muslim
SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. -- Some workers at a local plant will no longer to be able to take their Labor Day holiday because of religious reasons.
Workers at the Tyson Foods poultry processing plant in Shelbyville will no longer have a paid day off on Labor Day but will instead be granted the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr.
According to a news release from the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, a new five-year contract at the plant included the change to accommodate Muslim workers at the plant.
Tyson's director of media relations Gary Mickelson said the contract includes eight paid holidays -- the same number as the old contract.
Eid al-Fitr -- which falls on Oct. 1 this year -- marks the end of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting.
Union leaders said implementing the holiday was important for the nearly 700 Muslims, many of them Somalis, who work at the plant that employs a total of 1,200 people.
Nineteen-year plant veteran William Pentecost doesn’t agree with the decision.
"I don’t think it's right. I really don't think it's right," he said.
Tyson company spokeswoman Libby Lawson said by phone that, "This isn't a religious accommodation, this is a contractual agreement. The majority asked for it."
The change didn’t bother some workers.
"I think it's fine. I don’t have any problem with it. There's a whole bunch of them here, so they've got to do something for them," said worker John Smith.
"It shouldn't happen. I mean, I think, we're in America, you're in America, I think that they should go with our holidays," Pentecost said.
Channel 4's Cynthia Williams could not reach any of the plant’s Muslim workers, because Channel 4 News' crew was not permitted on the property.
Former employee and Shelbyville resident Anthony Proctor said he thinks what's happening is wrong.
He said he helped build a special Muslim prayer room that's located inside the plant and that no other Tyson facility has been that accommodating for any other religion.
"If we want to go pray, we don’t have one for Christians," he said.
Tyson is headquartered in Arkansas.
Lawson said they consider religious accommodations on a case-by-case basis. She said that so far, no one has asked for any other type of religious prayer room.
No one at the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union’s regional office answered phone calls placed by Williams on Friday.
A representative in New York said that no one there knew specifics about the new contract with the workers, but a person in research told Williams that holidays aren't usually replaced and are more likely to be added on.
The decision will only apply to workers at the plant who are union members. All other employees at the plant will still have their normal Labor Day holiday.
When you know the threat of islam itself, and our fighting so-called radical islam, think of the fact that they teach their young jihad from the age of three and about 100 new jihadists are born per minute. My wife used to say that I'm like a dog with a bone, I just won't let certain things go. I'm beginning to believe her.
I simply cannot get the prospect of Sen. Barack Obama removing huge American flags from the back of his campaign plane for some goofy, Oprah Winfrey-like logo, out of my mind.
When the Obama campaign spent a ton of money "re-furbishing" the huge Boeing 757 that the candidate and his entourage fly in, most of the media attention was focused on the interior of the plane. And why not? Seeing how Obama now sits in a big high-backed, leather chair in his spacious front compartment with the words, "Barack Obama, President" stitched on the back is a pretty jarring glimpse into the man who has to be one of the most arrogant people ever to run for president in the history of the country.
"President?" Stitched on the back of his leather seat? Good Lord, I thought his lame attempt at creating a faux presidential seal, a circular design that was going to be placed on every podium where he gave a speech that looked just like the official presidential seal was bad enough.
And I've heard the reports of how his staff affectionately refers to the 757 airplane as "O-Force One." Somehow, an image of Ronald Reagan always putting on a suit and tie before even entering the Oval Office comes to mind. Obama and his staff's sheer disrespect for the presidency is probably causing the Gipper to spin in his grave.
But what I can't let go is what Obama and his people did with the exterior of the plane.
The aircraft is chartered from a company that had giant American flags on the sides of the rear tail fins. When Team Obama decided it was time for a new paint job, the huge flags were replaced by an ugly, New Age-type, stupid oval "O" with red, white and blue colors.
I suppose one could argue that at least they kept America's colors. But then again, that's sort of like saying that someone who has an American flag sewn onto the butt of their jeans is showing respect for the USA.
So now when the Messiah of politics pulls into any airport in the country, his fainting fans get to see a huge jet with the words, "Change We Can Believe In" on the sides and a goofy-looking red, white and blue "O" on the back where the giant American flags used to be.
That's change, alright.
You know, all this Obama talk about change has me so doggone nervous. In his world, change means a candidate refusing to wear an American flag lapel pin (until he is finally shamed into doing so); change means standing on a stage with a bunch of other political types and when the Star-Spangled Banner is played, putting his hands over his crotch rather than over his heart (like the rest of the people on the stage were doing); and change means having big, beautiful American flags removed from the official aircraft, covered up like a tired, old furniture store sign in a bad part of town.
Before you accuse me of picking nits, consider this: there is simply no way that this savvy political machine called the Obama campaign would be oblivious to the reaction they would receive to the changes they've made to their candidate's plane. Don't you think they knew that reporters would notice the word "president" stitched onto the back of his seat? Wouldn't you think they're aware of the fact that the whole world is watching the big Boeing 757 with the idiotic "O" logo on the plane where the flags used to be?
They know, alright. More importantly, Sen. Obama knows.
He doesn't care.
It doesn't matter to him if his staff calls his ostentatious, expensive plane, "O-Force One." He doesn't give a rat's rear end if people object to his refusal to embrace the flag, the very symbol of this great country.
This former community organizer thinks he's got everyone eating out of the palm of his hand right now. And he sure doesn't need some schmaltzy American flag to distract him.

I can't emphasize enough the need for everyone to do the same and educate yourselves and others at the great danger that the penetration of these 5h Columnists into all levels of government is to OUR AMERICA.

As you all know I have maintained that the 6-8 million WAHHABI ISLAMISTS, and the 2,000 plus WAHHABI MOSQUES, primarily bought and paid for by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its King and further financed and supported by ALL ISLAMIC NATIONS, represents the if not the first, the 2nd most dangerous 5th column in America Today. The commentary below by Daniel Pipes illustrates the daunting challenge we in the West face in dealing with the threat of Islamist infiltration of our government and intelligence agencies.
If government officials are deemed as too aggressive in doing background checks of Muslims who seek such positions, they are met with the predictable cry of “discrimination” and “Islamophobia.”
If they are not aggressive or thorough enough in their background checks, radical Islamists slip through and gain access to classified intelligence information that could compromise critical anti-terrorism investigations – putting us at greater risk.
But the blame for this situation does not lie with Americans who are concerned about national security and demand exhaustive background checks of Muslims, and the “victims” are not Muslims who claim they are being discriminated against or treated unfairly.
The blame lies first with those millions of Muslims who are intent on waging jihad against us, whether through violent means or cultural subversion. The blame lies secondly with those Muslims who reflexively cry “discrimination” but do nothing to isolate or stop the Muslims intent on waging jihad.
And the victims are the American people, who, every time they have to take off their shoes to go through airport security…who every time they have to pay more for goods and services because of the increased costs due to the threat of terrorism…who every time they fear for the safety of loved ones who are traveling…are starkly reminded of the cost we are paying for this jihadist assault on our safety, security and values.
So let us never forget. We are in this war against Islamic terrorism, in all its manifestations, because Islamists have declared jihad against us. They are the aggressors, and we have every right to do what we must to protect and defend ourselves, and to do so without apology. And that includes keeping a keen and watchful eye on Muslims who seek positions in our government and intelligence agencies.
Aafia Siddiqui, 36, is a Pakistani mother of three, an alumna of MIT, and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Brandeis University. She is also accused of working for Al-Qaeda and was charged last week in New York City with attempting to kill American soldiers.
Her arrest serves to remind how invisibly most Islamist infiltration proceeds. In particular, an estimated forty Al-Qaeda sympathizers or operativeshave sought to penetrate U.S. intelligence agencies.
Such a well-placed infiltrator can wreck great damage explains a former CIA chief of counterintelligence, Michael Sulick: "In the war on terrorism, intelligence has replaced the Cold War's tanks and fighter planes as the primary weapon against an unseen enemy." Islamist moles, he argues, "could inflict far more damage to national security than Soviet spies," for the U.S. and Soviet Union never actually fought each other, whereas now, "our nation is at war."
Here are some American cases of attempted infiltration since 2001 that have been made public:
The Air Force discharged Sadeq Naji Ahmed, a Yemeni immigrant, when his superiors learned of his pro-Al-Qaeda statements. Ahmed subsequently became a baggage screener at Detroit's Metro Airport, which terminated him for hiding his earlier discharge from the Air Force. He was convicted of making false statements and sentenced to eighteen months in jail.
The Chicago Police Department fired Patricia Eng-Hussain just three days into her training on learning that her husband, Mohammad Azam Hussain, was arrested for being an active member of Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H), a Pakistani terrorist group.
The Chicago Police Department also fired Arif Sulejmanovski, a supervising janitor at its 25th District station after it learned his name was on a federal terrorist watch list of international terrorism suspects.
Mohammad Alavi, an engineer at the Palo Verde nuclear power plant, was arrested as he arrived on a flight from Iran, accused of taking computer access codes and software to Iran that provide details on the plant's control rooms and plant layout. He subsequently pleaded guilty to transporting stolen property.
Nada Nadim Prouty, a Lebanese immigrant who worked for both the FBI and CIA, pleaded guilty to charges of: fraudulently obtaining U.S. citizenship; accessing a federal computer system to unlawfully query information about her relatives and the terrorist organization Hizballah; and engaging in conspiracy to defraud the United States.
Waheeda Tehseen, a Pakistani immigrant who filled a sensitive toxicologist position with the Environmental Protection Agency, pleaded guilty to fraud and was deported. World Net Daily explains that "investigators suspect espionage is probable, as she produced highly sensitive health-hazard documents for toxic compounds and chemical pesticides. Tehseen also was an expert in parasitology as it relates to public water systems."
Weiss Rasool, 31, a Fairfax County police sergeant and Afghan immigrant, pleaded guilty for checking police databases without authorization, thereby jeopardizing at least one federal terrorism investigation.
Nadire P. Zenelaj, 32, a 911 emergency operator of Albanian origins, was charged with 232 felony counts of computer trespass for illegally searching New York State databases, including at least one person on the FBI's terrorist watch list.
Three other cases are less clear. The Transportation Security Administration fired Bassam Khalaf, 21, a Texan of Christian Palestinian origins, as an airport baggage screener because lyrics on his music CD, Terror Alert, applaud the 9/11 attacks. FBI Special Agent Gamal Abdel-Hafiz "showed a pattern of pro-Islamist behavior," according to author Paul Sperry, that may have helped acquit Sami Al-Arian of terrorism charges. The Pentagon cleared Hesham Islam, an Egyptian immigrant, former U.S. Navy commander, and special assistant to the deputy secretary of defense, but major questions remain about his biography and his outlook.
Other Western countries too - Australia, Canada, Israel, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom - have been subject to infiltration efforts. (For details, see my weblog entry, "Islamists Penetrate Western Security.")
This record prompts one to wonder what catastrophe must occur before government agencies, some of which have banished the words "Islam" and "jihad," seriously confront their internal threat?
Westerners are indebted to Muslim agents like Fred Ghussin and "Kamil Pasha" who have been critical to fighting terrorism. That said, I stand by my 2003 statement that "There is no escaping the unfortunate fact that Muslim government employees in law enforcement, the military and the diplomatic corps need to be watched for connections to terrorism."
This as far as I know is the only group actually fighting the Islamic Horde, supported by the Wahhabi CAIR and the communist ACLU. that has invaded America. Their concentration on the College and University Campus is particularly welcome and I pray they are successful. Now if we can just get rid of the Secular Progressive Communist Professors and Instructors on campus maybe the "Brain Washing" of our youth will stop. I note that there doesn’t seem to be anyone else, not even Homeland Security fighting this invasion of America and its multiple moves, using our laws to establish Sharia Law in Wahhabi Islamic Ghettos among other moves that will destroy our Constitutional America.

Islamo-Fascism Week III: "Stop the Jihad on Campus"
While America is finally winning the war in Iraq, the global effort against the Islamic jihad goes on. In Afghanistan, the war with al-Qaeda is still raging. In Gaza, Hamas continues to launch genocidal attacks against Israeli towns. Meanwhile, on American college campuses a coalition of organizations connected to the jihad network demonizes America and Israel. This coalition carries on its agendas of hate with the unwitting collaboration of student governments and university administrations.
In October 2007, more than one hundred campuses hosted Islamo-Fascism Awareness weeks to make university communities aware of the Islamist threat and the danger it poses.
In April 2008 a second Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week focused on the network created in America by the Muslim Brotherhood and that includes the Muslim Students Association and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).
This fall, during the week of October 13-17, students on more than 100 campuses will hold events under the banner of "Stop the Jihad on Campus," a campaign designed to make the university community aware of the support the Muslim Students Association, Students for Justice in Palestine and other leftist groups provide for the jihadists' hatred and agendas.
A focus of this campaign will be the genocidal nature of the jihad. Over one hundred Muslim Students Associations have refused to condemn the genocidal terror groups Hamas and Hizbullah, and have declined to repudiate the infamous Hadith or saying of the prophet which calls on Muslims to kill Jews to bring about the Day of Judgment.
The request to repudiate this incitement was sent to the Muslim Students Associations by the David Horowitz Freedom Center last spring. It has been re-sent recently. If the MSAs again refuse to condemn religious genocide and the organizations whose goal it is to carry it out, the “Stop the Jihad” movement will call for the defunding of MSA chapters who promote of ethnic hatred and refuse to condemn holy war.
The Muslim Students Association portrays itself as a religious and cultural organization, representing all Muslims. As a result, MSAs receive generous funding from student activities boards – often more than most other student groups. The University of Pennsylvania’s Muslim Students Association for example receives $20,000 from student government while college Republicans and Democrats receive nothing.
During May 2008, the Muslim Student Union at UC Irvine– a chapter of the Muslim Students Association -- specifically requested and received $6,500 for their “Palestine Awareness” program which called for the destruction of the Jewish state under the banner “Never Again? The Palestinian Holocaust.” The May 2008 Muslim Student Union hate-fest in support of terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah at UCI included virulently anti-Israel and anti-American speakers such as imam Amir Abdel Malik Ali, imam Muhammad al-Asi and Norman Finkelstein.
The MSA is in fact an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist organization, which has created a network of “front” groups to conduct a stealth jihad in America, including CAIR, the Muslim American Society and the Islamic Society of North America.
“Stop the Jihad on Campus” will seek to make the academic community aware of the stealth jihad in its midst and end university support for the hate agendas – against women, gays and Jews – which MSA-sponsored speakers have brought to campus.
The national MSA has sponsored hate speakers such as Sheik Khalid Yasin who has called for the execution of gays and accuses Jews of orchestrating the 9/11 terror attacks. Last spring, the MSA brought Sheik Yasin to Penn State, Ohio State, Minnesota State, the University of Minnesota, St. Cloud College and Sinclair Community College. The MSA has named its student scholarship fund after a member of the Muslim Brotherhood network, and has sponsored “Nakba” celebrations to coincide with Israel’s birth date and whose agenda is the destruction of the Jewish state.
Student leaders will be asked to press their student governments to defund their respective MSA chapters for sponsoring ethnic hatred and violating university rules and regulations. Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week will raise consciousness in campus communities across the nation as to the nature and presence of the jihad in their midst. Americans need to wake up to the threat that confronts them, before it is too late.
More than just interesting. It would appear that the Muslim Brotherhood is an Umbrella Organization like al Qaida and that they work in tandem to support the Second Coming of the Caliphate and are supported by organizations like CAIR in America.
It would be interesting to know just what the overall relationship is between Saudi Arabia, that is paying for the Horde of Wahhabi Islamics with their Wahhabi Mosques to immigrate to England, Europe and America, their Secretary of Defense Osama Ben Laden and his group al Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood. All are active 5th Column elements in England, Europe and America supported by the Secular Progressive Communist/Socialists in these countries. They all have their Commie/Imam Obama's, Tsarina Pelosi's and Tsar Reids and communist organizations like the ACLU here at home.

The English language website of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood has issued a rather extraordinary statement in connection with the recently-resigned Obama campaign Muslim outreach adviser. The statement opens repeating what has now become the standard accusations of "Islamaphobia", a charge routinely leveled by the global Muslim Brotherhood against its critics:
"The ongoing controversy in the U.S. surrounding resignation of Mr. Mazen Asbahi, Muslim-outreach advisor to presumptive democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama, is quite intriguing. Mr. Asbahi is an Arab American corporate attorney who resigned last week amidst allegations of old loose ties with individuals associated with organizations thought to be linked to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). Mr. Asbahi's crime is that he also appeared as a guest speaker before such organizations allegedly linked to the MB. Islamic organizations in the U.S. described the campaign against Mr. Asbahi as 'nationwide efforts by Islamophobes who seek to deny Muslims access to the political process.' "
Previous posts have detailed a more accurate accounting of these events which refute the widely reprinted statement that Mr. Asbahi's ties to the Brotherhood are "old and loose."
The statement goes on to deny that the Muslim Brotherood has any "representation" in the U.S and lists all of the organizations routinely identified by the GMBDR as part of the U.S. Brotherhood, stating that it has "absolutely has no organizational links, ties, or associations" with any of these organizations:
"The MB has repeatedly denied it has any representation in the U.S., nor does it maintain any links with any of the Islamic or charitable organizations in the U.S. We have previously clarified that moderate and pragmatic Islamic thought is not exclusive of the MB, however, there are many other Islamic movements and organizations throughout the world that have the same mainstream principles as the MB but not necessarily part of its organizational structure. In this regard, the MB confirmed that it absolutely has no organizational links, ties, or associations with any of the Islamic organizations in the U.S., including but not limited to: The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), the Muslim Student Association (MSA), the Muslim American Society (MAS), and the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT). "
Space prohibits an exhaustive listing of the links, ties, and associations of all these organizations with the global Brotherhood but it is instructive to consider the case of the Muslim American Society (MAS). The Chicago Tribune reported in 2004 that Mohammed Mahdi Akef, now the Egyptian Brotherhood Supreme Guide, says he helped found the MAS by lobbying for the change during trips to the U.S. The Tribune investigation further reported that despite an alleged push for openness by Akef and other MAS leaders, the MAS decided that it would operate by concealing its Muslim Brotherhood affiliation.
Investigative research has also extensively documented the Muslim Brotherhood origins and ties of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), created by Brotherhood leaders who were instrumental in the earlier founding of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) and who also went on to found the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT). Other research has documented the origins of the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) out of the Hamas infrastructure in the U.S. Both federal prosecutors and a cache of internal U.S. Brotherhood documents introduced into federal court proceedings further identify and support the identification of many of the organizations in question as part of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.
Rather oddly, after denying the ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, the Egyptian Brotherhood statement goes on to acknowledge the origins of many of these organizations in the Muslim Brotherhood:
"There are however, ideological similarities between the MB and most of above mentioned Islamic organizations for the fact that these ideologies represent mainstream moderate Islamic thinking. However, some of the founders or members of these organizations were at some point in their lives either members or sympathizers of the MB in their native countries before they migrate to the U.S. or other countries. During the 1960s, many members of the MB have fled Egypt to escape persecution by the Egyptian regime. Most of them settled in European countries or the U.S. and benefited from the atmosphere of freedom and prosperity in these countries and continued to practice and promote moderate Islamic thought. Thus, several local Islamic organizations were created to help Muslims integrate within their local communities and engage in charitable work mandates by Islam. Islamic work worldwide was also enriched by Muslim students who studied abroad and were keen on practicing their religion. In the U..S, several of these local active groups have merged and created large national organizations widely known throughout the country. "
The statement then asserts what might best be called a distortion of the facts by asserting that the "ties between the MB and any of the U.S.-based organizations were extensively scrutinized during the Holy Land Foundation trial.":
"Most of the alleged ties between the MB and any of the U.S. based organizations were extensively scrutinized during the Holy Land Foundation trial and were found groundless by the juries in court case that ended in mistrial. The prosecution in this case failed to establish any evidence that link the MB as an organization with any of the Islamic organizations in the U.S., but instead presented the court with notes, diaries and minutes of meetings among individuals who were not in any form or shape part of the MB and were not representing it, although they might of shared its ideology as we previously alluded to. "
The Muslim Brotherhood ties of the Holy Land defendants were not part of the charges against them and this statement appears to be designed rather to discredit the internal Brotherhood documents discussed above that were introduced as part of the trial.
Next, the statement claims that the global Muslim Brotherhood network is "Hollywood fiction" while at the same acknowledging the "coordination among the different MB chapters in various countries, in which the MB has formal presence or representation", as good a definition as any of a network:
"The so called Global Network of the Muslim Brotherhood is merely a Hollywood fiction that only exists in the minds of those who created it as part of their scare tactics to insight fears among the public and instigate government hostilities. There is no "global network" for the Muslim Brotherhood, but rather coordination among the different MB chapters in various countries, in which the MB has formal presence or representation, which clearly does not apply to the U.S. This coordination among international MB chapters mainly revolves around political issues, sharing experiences in the field of public Islamic work and exchange new ideas. "
The issue of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood has already been discussed so it is instructive to look at others who have also identified a global Muslim Brotherhood network. For example, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), which few would describe as a "radical special interest group", describes the global Muslim Brotherhood network as follows:
"The original Egyptian organization has spawned branches in 70 countries. These organizations bear the Brotherhood name, but their connections to the founding group vary and some of them may provide financial, logistical, or other support to terrorist organizations. "
As an earlier post discussed and contrary to the CFR statement, it appears that none of the Brotherhood organizations outside of Egypt identifies themselves as such. However, as that post also observed, Brotherhood leaders themselves have acknowledged the existence of a global Brotherhood network. For example, in June of this year the first Deputy chairman of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood was asked about the "international Muslim Brotherhood and replied:
"There are entities that exist in many countries all over the world. These entities have the same ideology, principle and objectives but they work in different circumstances and different contexts. So, it is reasonable to have decentralization in action so that every entity works according to its circumstances and according to the problems it is facing and in their framework."
The GMBDR has chosen to use the term "Global Muslim Brotherhood Network" as a shorthand to refer to the worldwide collection of Brotherhood "entities." It should also be added that it would seem unlikely that given representation in 70 countries, a figure attributed to the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide in a 2005 newspaper interview, the Brotherhood would have no representation in the U.S.
The end of the statement takes on the shrillest of possible tones asserting that unidentified "allegations" were made by organizations, presumably including the GMBDR and the Wall Street Journal, with an "extreme ideology of hate and evil."
"We call on the public to carefully examine any allegations spread by special interest groups in the U.S. to smear certain individuals or groups for political gain in a heated presidential campaign season. These radical special interest groups and lobbies are driven by extreme hate towards Muslims and feel that Islamic moderation and the presence of strong Islamic organizations in the U.S is a major threat to their extreme ideology of hate and evil. "
It probably should be repeated at this point that no allegations were ever made by the GMBDR or the Wall Street Journal against Mr. Asbahi. As previous posts have discussed, the GMBDR merely identified public documents linking Mr. Asbahi to a variety of U.S. Brotherhood organizations followed by an inquiry by the Journal to the Obama campaign. At no time, has the accuracy of what was reported by the GMBDR been challenged.
Someway, somehow we need to wake up to the fact that the British are no longer a good ally in the War with Islam. The very effective control of that government by Secular Progressives with the Islamic Horde are running things, and yet you see Homeland Security and others not only egnoring the warnings like this one and adopting the very same STUPDITY of the Brits. Sending E-Mails to members of our government expressing these fears are not answered, or at best infer that its all a "Sky Is Falling" panic on my part, or that I miss read the intent of the Islamic Horde in America. British Ignore Jihad and Islamic Supremacism to Their Peril: (Part One of Two)
In the global war against Jihad, the United Kingdom is a key battlefield of vital importance to American national security. British Jihadists have planned or attempted three mass casualty terrorist attacks on the United States homeland - led by Dhiren Barot, Richard Reid, and a team of Jihadists who sought to target transatlantic jets from UK to Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, and San Francisco. The national security debates over American homeland security must not lose sight of the continuingthreat of Islamic supremacists in the United Kingdom to the United States and other nations.
But the past several weeks have shown a willingness of British government agencies to ignore the basis behind such Jihadist threats. This has been seen in the recent MI5 report that states that Jihadists are not "religious zealots" and that there is "no single pathway" to Jihad, ignoring the ideology of Islamic supremacism. This has also been seen in the British Home Office's inconsistencies in trying to discredit al Qaeda, while promoting an individual who calls for Jihad in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Israel. Such combined denial and inconsistencies should be troubling to Americans.
On further inspection, these actions are part of a larger challenge for the British government and for American national security in honestly addressing and confronting the Islamic supremacist ideology behind Jihad. Recent studies have shown that many young British Muslims continue to believe violence is justified by religion, and over the past several months, some Americans have finally seen excerpts from videotapes from British Jihadists in the August 2006 transatlantic jet terror plot - where such Britons justify their actions based on an Islamic Jihad against America.
The British government will not recognize the terms "Jihad" or "Islamist terrorist," and claims that it has a "counter-radicalization" process in place to discourage "extremism" and the use of violence. British "counter-radicalization" tactics fail to identify an ideology that such "extremists" embrace, making such tactics of questionable value at best. America should rightly be skeptical of such British "counter-radicalization" tactics, given the long history of British tolerance and appeasement of Islamic supremacists, both before and after 9/11. Instead, such British "counter-radicalization" tactics are being promoted in the United States, and being recommended by American analysts to our policy makers, military, and legislators.
Islamic supremacism in the United Kingdom is not just a British problem. It remains a near and present threat to America's national security and the security of our allies. Furthermore, as British tactics are being promoted to be used in the United States as well, such tactics must be examined in the larger war of ideas against Jihad and Islamic supremacism. As the British Channel 4 Dispatches documentary"Undercover Mosques-The Return" will show, Islamic supremacist preaching continues in British mosques thought to be "dedicated to moderation;" the UK Guardian, Daily Telegraph, London Times, Daily Mail all have reports on such Islamic supremacist hatred, segregationist views, and calls to violence being taught in mosque preaching to adults and children. This is the same Islamic supremacism and hatred revealed in the Channel 4's previous documentary"Undercover Mosques." It is clear that the war of ideas is being lost in the key battlefield of the United Kingdom, because the British government and its leaders refuse to acknowledge who and what the enemy ideology of Islamic supremacism is. Americans must not only learn lessons from their shortcomings for our own national security, we also must not repeat such British mistakes ourselves.
On the following pages, I have summarized the challenge at multiple levels of the British government, the impact of refusing to understand the supremacist nature of the Jihadist ideology we face, and the political blinders that keep many British leaders (and increasingly American leaders) from recognizing that there is no way to compromise with Islamic supremacism. Ultimately, like any supremacist ideology, as shown in America's history in fighting white supremacism in the 20th century, we must declare a confrontational war of ideas at every level to combat Islamic supremacism. I have divided this analysis into the following major topics:
1. British Home Office's RICU Seeks to Discredit al Qaeda, But Not Jihad
After the July 7, 2005 London transit bombings, the Research, Information and Communication Unit (RICU) was created in 2007 to support the United Kingdom Home Office, Communities and Local Government, and Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The goal of RICU was to help win the "hearts and minds" of British Muslims by communicating messages that would resonate with Muslims and counter messages by al Qaeda as part of a "counter-radicalization" campaign. To that end, in February 2008, RICU issued a guide for UK ministers and civil servants where Jihadists were rebranded as "criminals," and terms such as Islamist extremism and jihadist were no longer to be used to avoid offending British Muslims. The guide states: "[t]his is not about political correctness, but effectiveness - evidence shows that people stop listening if they think you are attacking them." That same month, the UK Association of Chief Police Officers announced that British police would be trained on Islamic faith and culture, including the importance of the Qur'an and Sharia law to Muslims.
On August 26, 2008, the Guardian reported on another RICU initiative, this time to discredit al Qaeda among news media and web sites, and spread RICU's messages both in the United Kingdom and in other countries. The Guardian report also states that British Home Office's RICU seeks to "exploit new media websites and outlets with a proposal to 'channel messages through volunteers in internet forums' as part of their campaign." (Another Guardian report also states that RICU's efforts will not "dismiss [Islamic] 'grievances'.") Given that the UK Security Minister, the former UK PM's chief of staff, and Sir Hugh Orde have all called for some type of talks with al Qaeda, RICU's efforts to condemn al Qaeda are certainly welcome.
However, RICU's reported campaign to discredit al Qaeda promotes a documenteddefender of Jihad in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Israel - Sayyed Imam Al-Sharif, also known as Dr. Fadl. The Guardian report states that RICU's "first dossier of material being despatched to diplomatic posts worldwide cites condemnation of al-Qaida from Sayyid Imam al-Sharif aka Dr Fadi [sic], a former leader of Egyptian Islamic Jihad." The thrust of Al-Sharif's "renunciation" of Al-Qaeda was focused on arguing against killing other Muslims and individuals who are deemed to be "innocent" (a term Jihadists interpret based on their opinions).
"Fadl [aka Al-Sharif] does not condemn all jihadist activity, however. 'Jihad in Afghanistan will lead to the creation of an Islamic state with the triumph of the Taliban, God willing,' he declares. The jihads in Iraq and Palestine are more problematic. As Fadl sees it, 'If it were not for the jihad in Palestine, the Jews would have crept toward the neighbouring countries a long time ago.'"
"Speaking of Iraq, he [Al-Sharif] notes that without the jihad there, 'America would have moved into Syria.'"
It could be considered outrageous that a pro-Afghanistan Jihad supporter such as Al-Sharif would be promoted by the British Home Office's RICU as a method of "discrediting" Al-Qaeda while British troops are under fire in Afghanistan from the Taliban, until it is understood that the UK Defense Secretary himself also calls for negotiations with the Taliban, and that MI6 has actually met with Taliban members for such negotiations. This underscores the challenges in foreign policy and counterterrorism strategy with the British government which largely views terrorist groups as the Taliban as regional issues that can be dealt with by political engagement (despite the Taliban's history and stated goals of transnational terrorism). The result is a narrow ideological debate only with those transnational Jihadists that UK government officials believe are a likely near-term threat to the UK homeland, such as al Qaeda, while refusing to confront Jihad itself or its ideological basis in Islamic supremacism.
In addition, RICU's anti-al Qaeda campaign reportedly also "notes that groups like Hamas and Hezbollah are now keen to distance themselves from al-Qaida." This is not RICU condemning Hamas and Hezbollah, but stating how different they are from al Qaeda. The important context for American audiences is that the Hamas and Hezbollah Islamic supremacist terror groups have significant support and a history of tolerance within the United Kingdom.
Hamas is not part of the "UK Proscribed Terrorist Groups" listing; the British government merely "boycotts" negotiations with them. In August 2003, the U.S. Treasury Department designated the British charity Interpal for providing funds for the Hamas terrorist group. Yet Interpal operates legally in the UK, and qualifies for tax-deductions. (In America, funding the Hamas terrorist group is a crime, as seen per the Holy Land Foundation's upcoming September 8, 2008 Hamas terror funding trial.) Hamas supporters openly speak on British television shows and at conferences. In September 2006, Britons Omar Sharif and Shmuel Cohen reportedly "were the first foreign nationals used by the Palestinian group Hamas to carry out terrorist attacks in Israel." The revelations of efforts by failed British suicide bomber Omar Sharif for Hamas has not changed support for Hamas among individuals, members of government, and groups in the United Kingdom. In December 2006, British MP George Galloway publicly sought to direct donations to the Hamas-front British charity Interpal. British author Adrian Morgan has written a two-part series on "How Britain Helps Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood" (part one, part two); other articles by Adrian Morgan on UK Jihad can also be found at Family Security Matters.
Regarding Hezbollah, the British Home Office finally recommended in July 2008 that Hezbollah's military arm be designated on its proscribed terrorist listing (due to its involvement in Iraq), although this "does not apply to Hezbollah's political or social activities." Six months ago, the UK Defense Secretary called for British negotiations with Hezbollah. In December 2007, the British Home Office allowed Lebanese Ibrahim Moussawi, an editor of Hezbollah's newspaper and former Hezbollah Al-Manar television editor, to attend a "peace conference" where he promoted Hezbollah as a "social network that helps children and the elderly." Moussawi's promotion of Hezbollah was not limited to just one "peace conference," but he went on a speaking tour promoting Hezbollah throughout the United Kingdom at rallies in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Norwich, Cambridge, and Cardiff. Moussawi worked for the same Hezbollah Al-Manar television station (banned in the United States and France), which serves as the propaganda arm for the Hezbollah Islamic supremacist terrorist group, and which calls the 9/11 attacks a Zionist conspiracy and promotes the Nazi anti-semitic propaganda "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion."
