Have Your Yellowcake and Eat It Too
by Christopher Merola

"Had the people, during the Revolution, had a suspicion of any attempt to war against Christianity, that Revolution would have been strangled in its cradle... In this age, there can be no substitute for Christianity... That was the religion of the founders of the republic and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants." the arguement from the left is going to be that this uranium was "old" stuff  (some of the barrels were so rusted they had to be replaced), that the u.n. knew about it( some of the barrels had u.n. stickers on them), and that saddam had "abandond his nuck program, and we were talking about the CHEMICAL wepons bush lied about. so these arn't "REALLY" wepons of mass destruction.

o.k.....that means that even if your teen daughter has missed 2 periods, and had a positive home e.p.t. she is not "really" pregnant, because she has not been to a doctor, and her belly isn't swelling, getting morning sickness, ect.

either she is pregnant, or she isn't....either sadam had wmds in violation of u.n. resolution 1440, and others, or he did not.

age, knowledge of, lack of active usage programs, and intended use do not excuse the presence of CONCENTRATED(partally enriched) uranium, "pesticides" that are 10 times the concentration found elsewhere in the world(discovered at a "farm" during the initial invasion), samples of smallpox(for "reserch"), taubin chemical agent(again, found during the inital march to bagdad...2 kilos, supposedly for "training") or the over 400 ied's using chemical shells that have been found and disarmed.

either he was in violation of u.n. mandates, or he wasn't....the evidence says he was, no matter how the left trys to spin and excuse in order to bash bush.

but the MSM won't tell us the truth, that's why i come here...keep up the good work.

I agree Lady Jane, if they would have found one OUNCE of radioactive material, they would have stood on the top of the white house and screamed it out for the world to see at the time they found it!!  It was a lie, it was a set up to the American people to satisfy a bush/cheney agenda from day one in the white house---get saddam!!

If you have to hyphenate your race--you are NOT an American!! This from a French-German-English-Irish-AMERICAN! See how silly this can become?

Apparently MSNBC changed it's mind from that 3 year old story:

Not necessarily.  Why would they want to broadcast it before it was safely out of there and at it's destination, risking a hijacking, piracy on the high seas, or whatever.  It makes perfect sense to keep it on the QT til safely in Canada.

Nope, this administration is full of leaks from people who got tired of lying for them, so, it would have been leaked a long time ago, plus, I can't see canada taking that much radioactive material, the people there would be going beserk!!  That is a LOT of radioactive material!!

Well, veebee you can see for youself Canada has it unless you think Bush even controls world nuclear news.  And if it was kept quiet, why would Canadians even know about it to bitch?  As little fuss as the MSM is making about this, makes me even more inclined to believe it!

Right...."in it's current state."  You saying it's "current state" was unchangeable and it would never be useful?  And if yellow cake was no big deal, then that sort of renders all the Valerie Plame crap as just that....crap!  Which it was.  Or perhaps you believe Saddam had peaceful uses in mind for the uranium??

To "Lady Jane--VeeBee---and Peanut 1958.       I can see that no matter what anyone says or does to perhaps make Pres. Bush look good ,or right--You'll always want to  debunk it !!I feel sorry for you ,that you can't (or don't want to) see the truth-if it hit you in the face. I've stated on another "site" here at  F.S.--that at least a dozen Democrats (your friends) said the same thing about SADDAM having "Weapons of mass destruction" The only problem I see---is that the "Drive By Media" only wanted to spout off that Bush  said it.Before you three go off on a tangent----find out the TRUTH.  And the truth is----Saddam did have "Weapons of Mass Destruction"  The TRUTH will out---and then you can Bite Your Tongues!!!!  Even your friend Hillary Clinton said that Saddam had them. Surprised ??   I'm sick and tired of people like you always wanting to belittle  any and all Republicans  without first finding out the TRUTH !!!

Do you have any links that support your case that Iraq had weapons that were an "IMMINENT THREAT TO THE UNITED STATES"  as Bush led us to believe? Do you really think that they had the ability to launch An INTERCONTINENTAL  BALLISTIC MISSLE directed towards the United States?  WOW !!

For crying out loud, what is it that libs fail to comprehend????  They didn't have to have intercontinental capability!!!  They didn't need a big army.  They didn't need a big air force.  They didn't need a big navy!!  TOne single person with one single brief case is ALL that was needed!!  Geesh!!!

Now your saying that the "IMMINENT THREAT" from Iraq was that a person might carry a briefcase  to America, and then do what with It? And by the way,I  am an INDEPENDENT,even though this has nothing to do with POLITICAL AFFILIATION....  This has to do more with "common sense",and logical thinking derived from facts and not fantasy. THE C.I.A has stated, and the 9/11 commission (which was NON-PARTISAN) have both stated that there were NEVER ANY WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION ,and that includes weapons that would somehow make there way (maybe through the MEXICAN BORDER ??) In briefcases....... GEESH!!!

No, peanut, I didn't say BOO about "imminent threat".  YOU are the one who brought up intercontinental ballistic missiles.  I'm saying ICBM's are not needed!  As for the 9/11 commission....non partisan is an interesting choice of words.  Equal opportunity snow job white wash is more accurate.  So, by your "common sense logic" because that ICBM or briefcase weapon "didn't exist" at the time, it was impossible for it ever to exist at any time in the future.  Okay.  Whatever.

George Bush isn't on these boards.  Neither are all the other who used the imminent thread argument.....from BOTH sides of the aisle!

People are very blinded by Bush hatred.  Bush did not lie and that is now proven.

What possible use, other than to make dirty bombs or nukes, would Iraq have for this uranium?  They sit on millions of barrels of oil for energy.  Do you think they really wanted to build a bunch of nuclear reactors for energy?
