Congress is allowed to pass Bills for only 2 Commemorative Coins per year.

this coin is slated to be minted if approved for the 2010 year celebration of the BSA Centennial Year

The House passed their version of the bill.

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/vote....

even though the bill passed the house

notice that some voted Nay while others did not even cast a vote at all!!

you may want to contact your rep if he or she was one who voted nay or no vote at all and ask their reasoning..

it now sits on the Senate Banking committee

here is a brief rundown of the bills history

So what I am asking is for us to contact the banking committee over this 4th july holiday so that this bill can move foward after the holiday break and be sent to the senate floor for a full vote.....

keep an eye on this bill and as it comes close to arriving  on the senate floor contact your senators to let them know to support this bill

I stickied the thread for you as so it won't just go away. Sticky means that it should stay active as long as it is being attended to at least once in a while.
