Ahhh, higher, family wage jobs---more jobs Americans apparenlty won't do....and these jobs had military contacts and Boeing contacts...just what we need, a bunch of illegals with fake documents, some working at this plant for a decade according to the local TV news, working on military projects and aviation projects....Arlington, WA is about 40-50 miles north of Seattle along the I-5 corridor. About 10% of the workers were affected by this raid, so, a not unsubstantial amount of employees. I did the underline in the story below.
The ICE agent in charge also mentioned on TV that they had gotten a phone call that tipped them off that some of the workers there might be illegals, so maybe that is why they did the audit.

Raid at aerospace plant finds 32 undocumented workers
P-I STAFF
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents raided an Arlington aircraft manufacturing plant Thursday and arrested 32 undocumented workers.
Agents executed the search warrant at Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies, Inc., which supplies parts for both commercial and military aircraft, including the Boeing 737 and 777, according to an ICE news release. The raid was prompted by an ICE audit of AMT's employment records that led agents "to believe that a small percentage of the company's employees used counterfeit documents to secure their jobs," the news release said.
There is no evidence that AMT knew that workers had used false credentials to get their jobs.
All of the arrested workers were processed for deportation to their home countries. Thirty are from Mexico, and two are from El Salvador. Four female workers in the group were released from custody on humanitarian grounds pending further immigration proceedings. The other 28 are being held at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma.
