Fainess Doctrine????

Hello All

I'm not sure where I am supposed to put this info or if I am allowed to put any links so please advise Mr/Ms Administrator.

I receive constant news updates from Media Research Center as well as petitions. I received this today and thought I would pass it along. What is most disturbing to me is the "LACK" or at least the "Apparent Lack" of concern which is reflected by the minute number of petitions that have been signed. 66,000??????????

Where is America?

Where are the American Citizens?????

Whether you agree with me or not on my Christian Faith and belief right now is not important, what is important is that my right to "Speak" both verbally and written about my faith is in jeapardy as well as your right to "Speak" either in favor or against me. Right now they are targeting talk radio and if they succeed then they will come after the internet and groups like this. They are already trying to make it illegal for me to teach what the Bible says about homosexuality by classifying it as a "hate crime" and though they have not succeeded they are still trying.

Imagine, if we do nothing now one day what I am doing right now will be considered illegal.

That's not what I want, Is it what you want? Below is the information to sign a petition to stop the 'Fairness Doctrine"

Is the gag about to be slid over the collective mouths of conservative talk radio leaders?

That’s what liberals are itching to do, and unless we take decisive action over this next week, I fear this could become a grim reality.

++ 66,000 Petitions and Counting

hizson, we are so close to reaching our goal of 100,000 signatures--signatures that could get Congress to move forward with a vote on the Broadcaster Freedom Act, now stuck in committee - and needing just a few more signatures to bring it to the House floor for a full vote.

This vote is crucial so that every member of Congress is put on record as to where he/she stands on Free Speech in our Nation!

We want to present Congressional leaders with 100,000 petitions from citizens who are demanding "Radio Independence" from the threat of government censorship through the Fairness Doctrine, before July 4!

That means we have precious little time to reach our goal.
