Jim - Who Should We Endorse?
What Is Your Opinion?

The pundits all agree that independent voters will be a significant factor in the November 2008 Presidential Election between Senators Obama and McCain.

What are the issues that you think are most important in America?  How are you thinking about the upcoming election?

IndependentMovement.Org wants to know!!!  Please, take our short survey, and let us know what you think.
So right now you're saying, "Great, one more lousy internet poll."

But we at IndependentMovement.org are more than just poll takers.  We want to affect the outcome of the upcoming election and beyond.

Regardless of who wins the 2008 election, we're building a movement to restore the promise of America - and have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

We're really excited as we take our next steps together.

And if you haven't yet done so, please take a few moments to do the survey and pass it on.  I promise, it's quick, easy and the first step in a process of making sure we have a say in this presidential race.

Jim Mangia
IndependentMovement.Org

PS. The results of the poll will go out to everyone within the next couple of weeks.  Then the real fun begins!  I'm looking forward to seeing how the poll comes out and reading your responses.  Thank you for taking the poll!

If you go to www.independentmovement.org you can take the survey and it works fine.  Results, however, at this point, show Obama with a HUGE lead!!

Perhaps we'll have better luck if we go straight to the website to take the survey.

AOL has a presidenal poll also for the two clowns. It always says that  third party canidates will be added soon. Well that was weeks ago. Why the heck is it taking so long. I think they want two only give you the clowns to already program peoples minds.

Sorry about that folks -- the link was apparently personalized when sent to me.  Yep, I took the survey, so it probably thought you were me again -- oops!  Go straight to the website and it should work: http://www.independentmovement.net/

When I took that survey and saw that Obamma was way ahead I thought to myself, wow, this can't be right.

CR, It's called MSM once again. Even though I am not voting on for any third party Candidate, I feel if you are in the race for POTUS, then you should have equal airtime by both radio and television. The Dems are controlling everything as far as MSM is concerned.

I tried a whois lookup but could find no info on the site.  However, the site is founded and run by Jim Mangia, a man who is a strong and ardent Obama supporter.  That's why the results are so skewed right now.

Here's his bio from a pro-Obama article he wrote:

Jim Mangia is a founder of IndependentMovement.Org, the Chair of IndependentVoice.Org, and the CEO of St. John's Well Child and Family Center.  Jim has been a leader in the independent movement for over 25 years, and served as the National Secretary of the Reform Party from 1994-2000.

It doesn't bother me who runs it.  I was just figuring out why it was so oddly skewed toward Obama.  And, if this guy Mangia is so independent, why is he such a supporter of Obama?  That makes no sense.  I guess they're going to come out and say they did a study of independents and found that most lean toward Obama.  At least we'll know the source of that lie when we hear it.

You're probably guessing right -- sounds like a typical underhanded political ploy!
