What are the Georgia Guidestones all about anyway?

The Message of the Georgia Guidestones

A message consisting of a set of ten guidelines or principles is engraved on the Georgia Guidestones in eight different languages, one language on each face of the four large upright stones. Moving clockwise around the structure from due north, these languages are: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Ancient Chinese, and Russian. The message in English reads:

  

• Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature*
• Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.
• Unite humanity with a living new language.
• Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.
• Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
• Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a one world court
• Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
• Balance personal rights with social duties.
• Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.
• Be not a cancer on the earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.

*In order to achieve a population of 500,000,000, 90% of all people would have to die. The world is currently over a population of 6.6 billion.

A shorter message appears on the four vertical surfaces of the capstone, again in a different language and script on each face. The explanatory tablet near the Guidestones identifies these languages/scripts as Babylonian Cuneiform (north), Classical Greek (east), Sanskrit (south), and Egyptian Hieroglyphs (west), and provides what is presumably an English translation: "Let these be guidestones to an age of reason." This last may be a reference to the book, The Age of Reason, by Thomas Paine and is no doubt a nod to Thomas Carlyle's Sartor Resartus. This could also mean the coming of the Age of Aquarius, which is set to occur in the year 2012.

The content of the message bears a remarkable resemblance to the so called Earth Charter, a statement of vision of the Earth Charter Initiative of Mikhail Gorbachev (Green Cross International) and Maurice Strong (Earth Summit). ^[1]

 

 

THESE "GUIDESTONES" are nothing more than Marxist, ultra-liberal feel good crap--the kind of stuff that Algore and Comrade Obama fawn over. The only one that makes perfect sense is "Avoid petty laws and useless officials". Now there's a choice bit of wisdom, for sure. And of course, having 90% of humanity die off, one way or another, is just what these "Earth Mother" mouth breathers desire. Let's hope all of them are the first to go!!!

I agree with you Oldone70. It just seems that too many here on FS are caught up in this fake Left/Right paradigm (Democrate/Republican....all the way to Communism/Capitalism) It's all a scam by the NWO archeticts.

 Is The Ultimate Solution for all our woes not found in Jesus Christ and following His example of servanthood? 

Wonder who decides which 500,000,000 get to live.

Wonder who guides reproduction.

Will the international language be English?

Who's passion?  Who's faith?  Who's traditions?  Who decides what is reasonable?

Who writes the laws?  What recourse for bad laws and unintended consequences?  Is the world really global enough for one set of laws covering all peoples of the earth?

Will tyrants give a heck about world courts?  Nobody listens to the UN now, as it is.  People just use it as a vehicle for gaining wealth through corruption and to control the willing.

One could argue that most laws are petty and most officials are useless.

What is social duty?  Who decides?

This sounds like the writings of a brainwashed 3rd grader to me.  Platitudes without substance or consideration of how things really work when somebody rules the world, regardless of how beneficent they may be or recognition that most of the worlds rulers throughout history considered themselves enlightened , but were seldom beneficent, usually malevolent, and mostly scorned by learned historians in subsequent times.
