A Proud Grandpa!!!

Well, my grandson has 4 more weeks left of Marine bootcamp left. They say if you make it past the first 3 weeks, you should make it all the way.

We'll be going up to San Diego for his graduation on the 18th of July.... 

There has to be a bigger word then PROUD?

He's got 2 full weeks and a day before the Crucible.......

Wow... I still have goosebumps!!

Just got back from my grandsons Marine bootcamp graduation ceremony in San Diego!!

All I can say is frikin awesome!! What an inspiring couple of days I witnessed. Our grandson went in somewhat quiet, subdued, slightly overweight. He now walks tall, has a lot more manners then when he went in, gave up smoking for good, and is a physical specimen!! Every high school graduate should join the Marines!!!

I'm so proud I can just....well you get the picture!

If you live near San Diego and want to spend a couple of fun days with our protectors, I HIGHLY recommend you take in a graduation. You do not have to know anyone that is graduating. Some of the graduates did not have family there for whatever reason. You can take a new Marine as a temporary son and spend the day with him! He would surely appreciate it, and you will never forget the expereience!

Let me know if you need more information. I will do what I can...

Congrats to him and all around Ray.  That is wonderful!!!  God Bless and keep him, and all of them, safe.  You sound absolutely ready to bust, and justifiably so I might add!! Thumbs Up
