I knew it was just a matter of time. I see oil at $150.oo a barrel in the near future, maybe even more.

OPEC and others are bankrupting the entire world.  How bad do things have to get in the USA before we tell the tree huggers to buzz off and we drill anyplace and everplace there is oil ? This winter may do it, no heat, no food being delivered, no job.   What a mess we have allowed ourselves to get into.

Hello everyone,I am very disturbed this  morning, how is my family  going  to afford to drive to work, we live in Oklahoma in a small town, where everyone has  to drive a distance  to a job. Our inept government sits on thier asses and lets the invironmental crackpots call the  shots,,,meanwhile, China  is drilling directional off the  coast of Fla, thanks to Cuba and Russia  is drilling off the coast of Calif, sifoning off the oil that these  idiots  wont  allow us  to go  after and  then theres Obama  who is screaming  tax the oil companies, they  are price gauging!!!! How stupid is  this man???? If he is elected  it is  going to be a disaster,,,, we absolutely have  to drill  everywhere  there is oil,,,,, to get us thru the interim of new fuels  being developed... so  please, let us begin a campaign  to do just  that. If anyone has  any ideas,,,, let us hear them,,,but a start might be  to sign this petition and send it  to everyone you know,,,,

Our gas company who provides gas for heating, stoves, hot water etc just requested a 40% (forty per cent) raise in prices and expected to get it and oil is supposed to hit 150 $ by July 4 and ethanol is drastically raising food prices.  I cannot afford to live anymore, how about you?

I know how you all feel. If Obama gets into office which will happen if the Liberal Drive-Bys and Hollywood have their way, we can see oil prices hit between $200 and $300 dollars a barrel in 2009. Because the Liberal congress will go right after them with high taxes. The oil companies like Exxon are being taxed hard already and if congress gets their tax hike in, oil companies like Exxon will be forced to hike prices much higher just to keep up. Guess what, the Liberals will have no care whatsoever and hike the taxes even more and then the oil companies will strike back and so forth. By 2010 or 11 we could see prices hit $400-$550. Gas would then sky rocket to maybe $10-$15 dollars a gallon. This is under Obama. Eventually the stock market will react with a major crash and our economy will go bye-bye. Hence we will eventually be absorbed into a one world economic system.

This morning I was listening to the radio while driving to work (YES, I KNOW it is SUNDAY). Anyway, there is this idiot on the radio ranting about "what will it take in price at the pump before you fools (guess, he meant me) cut back your ungodly consumption of gasoline ? $4.00 is not slowing you down. Will $5 per gallon ? How about $7 per gallon ? "

I don't know about you guys (and gals), but I am down to the bone on gas "consumption". I mean I don't drive except to work ! I'm between a rock and a hard place here.

(Maybe I'm waiting for the price at the pump to reach a point where going to work nolonger pays, then I won't fill the tank again. And stay home waiting to starve or be evicted).

 I quit shopping/ mall/ theaters/ beach at $3.00 a gallon. I had the wife do the grocery shopping at the store where she works at $3.60 a gallon. At $3.90 a gallon I canceled Netflix and Cable. At $4.00 a gallon I parked the lawn mower with a "4 sale" sign on it (btw: no offers yet). At $4.10 I changed the auto insurance policy on two vehicles to save some money. The budget has been thoroughly investigated at each price point at the pump and something was cut.

Today the cheap gas station in Oceanside was Unleaded Regular:   $4.39 

In answer to the idiot on the radio I already cut the "consumption" to the absolutely necessary ride to work ! And the next and last cut to my "consumption" will be when the price at the pump makes the drive to work MEANINGLESS, ILLOGICIAL, and UNECONOMICAL.

Anyway, I bought one car that gets 35mpg....thinking of trading in another for a 30mpg something.....

A big part of the problem is the MSM -- every day they predict higher gas prices, so we are "alerted" to what probably will happen, and lo and behold the oil companies don;t want to "disappoint" us!
