FAIR Announces Immigration Talk Radio Rally

FAIR Announces Immigration Talk Radio Rally.  The Federation for American Immigration Reform is holding its annual “Hold Their Feet to the Fire” talk radio rally September 10 and 11 in Washington, DC. 

FAIR expects this to be the largest of these events with upwards of 50 to 75 talk radio hosts expected to broadcast from Washington. 

FAIR says the goal of the event is to “counteract the special interests attempting to set an amnesty agenda for the new Congress and the next president.”  Dan Stein, president of FAIR Conggressional Task Force, tells TALKERS magazine, “Powerful special interests are now in full force pushing for amnesty and foreign guest workers with no regard to the plight of the American worker, wages or a deteriorating economy. 

The candidates aren’t talking about it.  Radio talk hosts representing millions of listeners will, and their collective voice is a voice that roars.”  Event manager Bob Dane can be reached at FAIR by calling 202-328-7004.

Enforcement first!

The United States of America has the most generous immigration policies of any nation on the planet.  Getting here is like a game to many, like stealing home plate in a baseball game.  Others think the rules were not made for them, exceptions should be made for them.

There are many who entered here legally and just did not leave.  They have not really caused any problems, they contribute in various ways to their community, BUT THEY ARE ILLEGAL AND SHOULD LEAVE.  It is because nothing is being done about them, that others think they can slither across the border in the dead of night and get to stay also.

I agree with Tom Tancredo and a few others.  Halt all immigration until we get control of the situation.  No visitor visas, no student visas, no work visas, no family reunification approvals until as many as possible of those who do not belong here are gone.

ms bobbie - on Friday morning they announced that there are 80,000 gang members in Los Angeles which a study by Senator Diane Feinstein has confirmed 60% of them are in the country illegallly.

They compared that with the 150,000 US Service men who are fighting in Iraq.

I sure wish the US Service men were fighting in CA against the invasion of Mexico, like they are fighting in Iraq against the invasion of Iran.

I wish they would empty out our prisons of those known to be here illegally and take them back where they came from.  A parachute drop right in the middle of wherever we want to take them.  SPLAT!

Wow!  Who says we have to return them to the place they came from.  Maybe different members of the United Nations would like to take them home to their respective countries.  It would be the humane thing to do, although I do like your "splat" idea.

Well..... if they entered illegally through Mexico, drop them in Mexico and let Calderone deal with them.  If he gets mouthy about it, cut off the foreign aid to fight his drug problem.  If they overstayed a visa, confiscate their assets and drop them wherever they came from.

msbobbie,  I heard on Fox, I think it was, that Mexico has said they would not accept an aid package that has any conditions attached to it because that would be meddling in Mexico's sovereignty.  I couldn't help screaming at the tv over that one.  The audacity of this country and its corrupt leaders, Fox included, never ceases to amaze me.  It's time the US told them to stop meddling in our sovereignty.

It's only right that every U.N. member get their fair share to treat humanely and with COMPASSION.  Countries should be notified ahead of time that every parachuting illegal will require education, food stamps and welfare.  Free medical and a job are also necessary.

Actually, domestic money orders cost almost twice as much as international ones.  Go figure.

There was an article in the FW Star-Telegram last week and the mexicans in one area were complaining because the money being sent from our country was down for the first 3 minths of this year.....it was ONLY $500 MILLION!

I beleive I read American taxpayers are paying the costs of wiring money to mexico...thru the Treasury Dept.  Imagine that!!

I don't know about that, Nancy.  I recall something about an effort to tax money being sent out of the country.  That is when Bank Of America started catering to them, giving them credit cards and such.  That way non citizens could deposit money in a bank account here, and have an ATM card delivered to whomever anywhere in the world.
