If a leading presidential contender called for cutting missile
defense systems and ending development of all nuclear weapons
in today’s world, wouldn't you expect that to be major news
covered by the mainstream media?

Friday, Rush Limbaugh reported on a statement made by Senator
Barack Obama that called for cutting "missile defense systems"
and ending development of "all nuclear weapons." But, the
liberal media have ignored it.

Rush told his radio listeners "I cannot believe that this has
not been more widely disbursed and distributed...I need some
proof on this."

Where did Rush and his staff turn for proof?

The Media Research Center.

Rush told his radio listeners that his staff "went out and
researched it. We found it is true, a story from... [MRC's]
Cybercast News Service."

Go here to see the video and read the MRC story that Rush referenced:

+ + Unprecedented liberal media bias

Of course, the mainstream media have all but ignored these statements.
It took the MRC's Internet news service, CNSNews.com, to expose
it in a way that gave Rush the "proof" he needed to report on it.

In over two decades of reporting on the liberal
media we have never seen such blatant bias.  To continue making
sure that all news is reported without liberal censorship,
we need your help.

Will you make a tax-deductible gift right now to help the
MRC expose liberal media bias and equip conservative
leaders with the "proof" they need to stop the bias? Go here:

+ + Ann Coulter: "The MRC is crucial"

Rush isn't alone. Ann Coulter said, "The Media Research Center is
crucial in every important battle we ever face. If you want the
facts you go to Media Research."  We have received similar comments
from Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and many other
conservative leaders.

As you can see, the MRC has become a lifeline for truth in the
battle against the liberal media’s endless spin and coverups.

That is why I'm asking you to consider making a special tax-deductible
gift of $20, $50, or for some $100 or more to help the MRC during
this critical time. Go here:

Now more than ever, your help is needed to counter the aggressive
skew of the liberal media, to reach more citizens each week with
the truth, and to bring balance and demand responsibility from
the news media.

Can I count on you?

Thank you for answering my call, and helping to keep the MRC strong
during this important time in our nation’s history.
