More often than not we are complaining about what is not right.  Many things could beimproved upon.  What we are missing are the wonderful blessing.  We have so many of them that we take them for granted.

Please feel free to add to them as you see fit:

I am thankful for living in the United States of America,

for our Military,

for the freedom of worship, and my loving heavenly Father.

I am glad that I can say what I want to on this forum,

if my house in on fire, I can call 911

if a big, burly guy brakes into my home, I can call 911

I can turn on the TV, or turn it off if I don't like what I see,

I can order most everything from the Internet,

I have a cell phone, and a home phone,

I have food on my table,

I have a roof over my head,

I have running water,

I have a access to medical care, however faulty it may be,

I have electricity and AC,

I have a car, and still enough gas available to go places,

I don't live in Europe and pay twice as much for gas,

I am glad I don't live in Europe at all.

I am glad to have wonderful friends.

I am so glad I can start a petition if I want to,

I am grateful to have a job,

and I am so grateful that I can voluteer to help others in need, may it be natural or man-made disasters.

Good point elania,

I am thankfull for Jesus christ in my life ,even though I struggle with todays Church.(they become to much about  money )

I am thankfull of my good wife and kids  and great parents.

I am thankfull everything turned out o.k when I flat out just quit my union job and left security after 13 years and left what was once a nice area in california.I just went on faith that everything was going to be all right. I had no job lined up. I give thanks that I have a lovely home and own it at the age of 37 years old

I am thankfull of living in the greatest country in the history of man,but who knows for how long.

For all who have fallen,we must move forward But, for the right reasons.*In my mind, so called "legal residency" is just as a threat as illegal immigration and it the missing topic in the immigration debate.*Every man dies, but not every man truely lives*

I am thankful it is almost time for Congress to go on vacation. Perhaps we can cut spending this summer!

Lets just hope they don't hold any "secret" meetings or conference calls.

I am very thankful to God for giving me life.

I am very thankful for our wonderful country that has given me the freedom most people in other nations only dream of.  I am also thankful to our wonderful country for allowing me to serve in the military for 20 yrs and help defend those freedoms.

You are very welcome.  I have been so blessed in that anything and everything I have done to this point in my life as a form of work or a career has been joyful.  I wouldn't trade one moment of my life or change a single thing....   to do so would insure that I would not be here at this moment...

I must ask.  Do we really have nothing else to be thankful for, or are we just too angry to see it?
