Barack Resigns From Church

We'll see what kind of brownie points this gives him.

Barack Obama has resigned as a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, his campaign says.

And just what the heck was he doing sitting in the pews for the last 20 years???? 

He had a hour long + explanation on FOX News that replaced another program that was to tell us about our Pork spending Congressmen, which had been posted on FS a number of days ago.  I would have much rather have heard that than Obama belabored explanations.

His devout followers seemd to accept it all.  

Frankly, it is just too blasted late for me, he should have resigned 19 years ago IMO!!  He is just as "political" as he accuses everyone else of being, as he calculatingly joined that church to get black votes and make himself look like a home boy when he is a what, Harvard? Yale? educated man, JUST to get elected to his local offices.

Then he took that junket to africa, his family vacation to trace his "roots" and just happned to invite 100-200 of his closest media friends to document the trip and put it on the nightly news...like he could not have taken his own photos like the rest of us do..LOL

and now, he says he is for change (?????), he says he is different (?????), he says he is NOT political (????) and he is better suited to run this country (????0....well, so far, his PERSONAL life is NOT one I admire, as his choice of church shows POOR judgement, his choice of his 3 spiritual advisors has shown POOR judgement in 2 cases, and we are just waiting for the ball to drop on the third advisor, to see how much he/she hates "whitey", his choice of friends shows POOR judgment (ie those two former Weather Underground terrorists he hangs with, like EVERYONE has a terrorist or two in our immediate circle of friends), and that sleazey Rezko, who was just arrested by the feds, who is a huge donator to Obama and had something to do with Obama and his wife getting that super expensive house loan, and frankly, Obama's choice in his wife shows POOR judgement, she is so full of hate for this country and white people it is not even funny!!  Man, I think she WROTE those sermons for rev wrong to spew forth!!

So, all in all, I don't think any of the above and probably a dozen more items that can be listed shows he is ANY different than any other politician, indeed, to me it shows he is even more political, as he has carefully and arrogantly plotted this run for prez for years I think--with NO qualifications, and his bad judgement is showing loud and clear for those who don't have Kool aid for blood and can actually see it.

He was learning the technique of "preacher-talk" that has brought him this far.

All I know is that if Republicans and conservatives don't start talking about real issues, November will be a disaster. McCain has his own problems with pastors and the Dems will use it. The campaign needs to talk about what McCain will do not what Obama has done.

We should start a petition to sue the whole lot of them ( Wright, Pfleger, Sharpton, Jackson....) for discrimination.  jC,  how do you advise?

Let's see, how many months did Obama stick with Wright, then the replacement, then this latest "preacher or hate"? And Michelle, we mustn't omit her remarks - so, what we have now if I understand correctly, is Mr. Obama NOW "sees the error or his ways" or at least the errors of those he has held near and dear to his heart...smells rotten to me.

If you have such strong convictions to or for someone or something, wouldn't you continue on that chosen path (20 years certainly shows me he was on that same gutteral path), but why NOW would he opt to distance himself? Would appear as Obama's looking to cover his butt and throw one more guy under the bus to save his own skin. Wow...isn't that a sign of a coward, or at the very least - a traitor to those of whom he's spoken so well of in the near past?

Odd he couldn't "resign" from Wright's or his replacement's church of hate, but now --- guess the third time's the charm"?

IN order to keep with forum rules I will simply state NO COMMENT on Obamas so called religion it is Black theology not tan, white, yellow or red, but BLACK and that my friends is racism pure and simple.

Yea, I could not sleep early am so was flipping channels and hit one of the news channels, msnbc I think, and they were reading an email, a kool aid drinker was complaining this was all the medias fault because they fixated on obamas church, and why did they not fixate on hillary's church too?  Well, duhhh, probably because despite her faults, she is not STUPID enough to stay 20 years in a church that preaches hated and is racist!

I also find it very, very poor judgement on obama's part that of the three "spiritual leaders" obama named that he was close to, rev wrong was one, this other, Pfleiger (?) was the second, don't know who the third was but I can imagine he/she will be spouting a sermon of hatred or racist context soon---LOL--he REALLY has poor judgement and that is scarey that he probably will be our next prez!

Hillary is certainly too calculating for a blooper like that.  Perhaps the esteemed Senator from Illinois can learn something. ::)

Don't make the mistake in thinking that hillary is the ONLY calculating one running, because I am sure that obama has calcuated THIS run for the WH for years and years, there is NO doubt in my mind, and the very fact he has won tells me that he is even MORE calcuating than her, but maybe people are just too blind to see.  I have said, he wins the nomination, he wins the WH, and just watch him...if hill and bill could not trip him up despite their rep for running to win at any cost, then that stupid, half dead mccain certainly can't unless there is something even MORE evil out there about obama than we have already seen about his church, personal finances and weather underground terrorist friends!  No, the fact he has won so well is VERY scarey indeed, and those who are so happy & jumping up and down that hillary lost are going to be VERY unhappy once obama wins!!
