Moronic that it ALWAYS comes down to this - and Mi Familia Vota? Oh, that's one of those non-American organizations that works for the ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS ... but, if it's a LEGAL citizen of the US, there is no reason NOT to have necessary documents in hand (such as the ever-present wallet or purse) and --- darn those poor and elderly! Then of course, those who have never had to prove they were citizens! BOY! Now they've really upset me, how about you?  I think we better re-think our demands for LEGAL CITIZENS RIGHT TO VOTE IN UNITED STATES ELECTIONS and decide we've been wrong all these years!  No, not so much. The ones who don't want proof of Citizenship should have their right to vote stripped.  One needs a brain to vote, and they obviously don't have one.

Hey! It just occurred to me that when election day arrives, those who actually have to go inside to cast their votes --- take out your voter registration and INSIST the poll sitter/volunteer LOOKS AT IT AND YOU TO VERIFY WHO YOU CLAIM.

I'll bet if any ILLEGAL ALIENS are in line and overhears your VERY CLEAR, CONCISE DEMAND that the volunteers require PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP or your RIGHT TO VOTE IN THE ELECTION, those rascally ILLEGALS will scatter to the outdoors.

I'm going to check whether or not one can walk in to cast their vote - it's vote by mail here in Oregon, but if I can --- you can bet it's happening this November and I hope it shocks and SCARES a whole lot of non-American citizens (ILLEGAL ALIENS) away.  How's that sound for a "movement" of, by and for America?  Rhonda

We must be the only country in the world that allows anyone to vote, make you a citizen if you are born here, give away health care and schooling, and give you food stamps and a check....all  on the taxpayers dime!!!

No wonder they are dieing to get in and no ones dieing to get out!!!

Well read this..and yes it can happen. This illegal in Washington State had a voter card, thanks to our stupid motor-voter law.  And I sent it to Eric at Foxnews.  It sucks, especially if you remember our horribly messy 2004 gubnatorial race where the incumbent eventually won by some 300 votes. But, actually, no one knows who really won.  I wonder how many illegals voted in that election??  Pray you don't have this problem in your state!!  The information about the voter card is about halfway down..I don't know how to highlight it.

If you want an honest count of votes in politics in AMERICA it should be the votes of WE THE PEOPLE of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA you should be proud to provide any documents that is required to vote. If you have the state of mind to vote I would assume that 99.99% of  LEGAL VOTERS could provide the proper DOCUMENTS. I uderstand that there are Handicapped people and many more that may require special attention. If you can't move any part of your body and are in your right mind to vote I agree that you should have rights and our goverment should help you in any way to make your vote count.

The rules need to be strict for what constitutes proof.

As an election day judge I can testify it is all too easy to beat the system.

In any case, if Democrats win in November the first thing they will do is grant amnesty to everyone.

Then they will subject us to international law.

That will be the end of the USA.

Don't forget, the rules are only as good as the ones who enforce them.  I too am an election judge, and we have very strict standards.  Is it the same everywhere?  I think not.

I can't belive anyone can be against this.We need this specialy when they allow the vast number of the so called "legal residence" that potentially can undermine not just in this area but also many other facets of America.   I am one of the few from anywhere that seem to  have even brought this up. Just  look at a current application to vote and that will prove my point right there. Are you a U.S. citizen? ,yes or no .No wonder America is in trouble.

For all who have fallen,we must move forward But, for the right reasons.*In my mind, so called "legal residency" is just as a threat as illegal immigration and it the missing topic in the immigration debate.*Every man dies, but not every man truely lives*

elaina, the strict standards you have are beatable (as we are both Ohio people). They need to be ironclad.

Even if this gets fixed by November be sure it will unravel almost immediately if Democrats get in power.

At that point they will just laugh at all this pontificating.

I would even say if some republicans win Greg , It will be the end.

Now that I really think about it , it is the end now. With out a doubt, Americas best days are behind her, unless there is drastic and desperate measures taken.

And it still doesn't matter if the rules are ironclad, because it ends with those who are willing to enforce them.  We do, you and I, but are others as well?  There will always be some who will find their way around the rules, no matter how strict, or infalllable.

Greg and Elaina ...

If you are both election judges, how do we start to fix the mess???

Tiny steps....better than no steps to fixing messes..

Sadly, being an election judge sounds more exiting than it is.  We are only there to make sure the law is followed.  We have as much to say about establishing new laws as you do.

Maybe someone here could "enlighten" me because I CANNOT understand why the Gov. is pushing so hard for amnesty!?! "WE, the People" have shot down the numerous attempts at it and yet they continue to try and slip it through (IE-Iraq -amnesty) bill).  Is it that they want the Vote? Can they not see the indisputable negative impact on our society? I live in So. Cal. and (again) CANNOT understand why the DMV gives driving tests in any language requested. Is there someone out there who knows of a state that have traffic signs in any other language? I am truly baffled by this. When I was young and I came across illegals, they were Happy to be in America and strove to become Americans. Now all I see is aggression toward us, hostility if you don't speak spanish to assist them and expectance of our assistance programs. What has happened? I belong to Grassfire and to FAIR hoping I can let my voice be heard. I am in contact with the public daily and tell anyone (who is also beyond frustrated) about these organizations. I am trying through voting, rep. calling/faxing and public outreach to make a difference, but it seems like We are not being heard by our Gov. WHY?

Amnesty is the one issue that can guarantee the complete and total defeat of Republicans AND conservatism forever.

Family Research Council ( http://www.frc.org/ ) and

Northeast Ohio Value Voters ( http://www.neohiovaluesvoters.com/ )

are two organizations of many that post a wealth of information on current values issues, what is under attack and how to take a stand.

Colorado just signed into law a bill that guarantees anyone can use whatever public bathroom they feel the most comfortable in based on their perceived sexual identity.

This is just one example of how values are under attack like never before. A KEY ELEMENT TO FURTHER THIS AGENDA IS AMNESTY.

How? By removing all power and influence from people with values and handing all power to liberal Democrats in such a way that we would never again be able to get it back.

This has been in the works for a long time and these scum of the Earth people are ABSOLUTELY ESTATIC THAT WE ARE SPINNING IN CIRCLES ARGUING WITH EACH OTHER.

Apathy, largely due to self-centered living, is another means they have used to keep us distracted why they are getting ready to pull the rug out from under us.

Hollywood types have used TV very effectively.

Our education system is co-opted by liberals and they CONTINUOUSLY FILL OUR CHILDRENS BRAINS WITH MUSH.

Why do you think so many are ga ga over "the savior Obama?" Even Bill and Hillary may be surprised how effective liberal influence has been.

Yes, Rockefeller Republicans have taken control. WE STUPIDLY LET THEM.

So, the Democrats are partying right now knowing they have succeeded in "dividing and conquering."

Hey, I've been saying this here for a long time and just get blasted for it.

Don't come crying to me.

Here we go again, Greg. "Don't come crying to me".  That goes both ways.  Soon we all speak Spanish, thanks to Juan.

"All the Kings horses and all the Kings men couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back together again."

Do you have some kind of glue that will fix this?

Do you really think Hillary or Obama will not do even worse?

California, I agree about some Republictats, especially Juan McShamesty. He is in total agreement with the dems about amnesty and subjecting us to world rule.

TLUV.....amnesty is being shoved down our throats because all the politicians in DC and many others in state and local government are owned by Soros and other unsavory people and groups. These pols take money and in return give the big monied unsavories open borders, unlimited cheap labor, unlimited drug supplies and just about anything else they want.

The only way we can hope to beat the impending demise of the USA is to band together and get honest representation in every aspect of government. Sorry to say, I don't think this will happen because too many Americans have been convinced that only the two parties have all the answers.  Americans are gullible, buy this argument, hold their noses and vote for the lesser of the evils (which still gives evil all the power) and the nation continues to hurtle toward oblivion.

How many people, even FS posters have said they will hold their noses and vote for MCCain, who is no different from the other two?
