JORDAN blasts Congress!

Hooray for Jim Jordan...the last of a dying breed of true, blue Americans who also happens to be a hero for WE THE PEOPLE and my congressman. Today in my home town paper I found the following article....I had to type "word for word":

JORDAN BLASTS POLITICIANS: By Jim Painter jpainter@sdnccg.com

WASHINGTON- Fourth District US Congressman Jim Jordan, R-Urbana, blasted fellow politicians saying Congress was a "dysfunctional place" based on recent outcomes involving the budget and farm bill.

On Thursday, in his weekly telephone conference with the media, Jordan said, "This place (Congress) is not what families want (from their representatives)."

Jordan said the $10 trillion US national debt continues to grow out of control. He said the $3.1 trillion 2009 budget is a financial plan eventually calling for a $680 Billion dollar increase in federal taxes over the next five years.

Jordan was to take the senate floor  Thursday in opposition of the budget plan.

He spoke of funding such projects as the $25 million to be used in the conservation of rare dogs and cats in foreign countries. WHAT??!

"That's the stuff going on here as we can't address more pressing matters such as increased costs for food and energy."

Jordan said President Bush's veto of the $290 billion farm bill was overturned by Congress. The plane would unjustly reward high income farmers. The plan included earmarks for specific areas that Jordan opposes.

Congressmen were to vote on the measure again Thursday afternoon.

Jordan spoke of the rising cost of energy. Gasoline prices continue to climb upward based on supply and demand. He said domestic efforts to drill for oil is the answer. AT LEAST SOMEONE IN DC GETS IT!

He stated that 85 percent of the continental outer shelf would show good results from drilling.

"I guarantee you the day a bill like that passes, the price of oil will go down because it would be showing a commitment by the US to secure energy resources."

 

This guy should run for President in 2012 and be teamed with Jeff Sessions on the ticket! He is young, brilliant and on the side of WE THE PEOPLE! His entire family gives back to the community in my area. He is the "REAL DEAL and the closest thing to Reagan we will EVER see again in our lifetime.

He consistently FIGHTS with US against illegals and Amnesty bills....he is dedicated to WE THE LEGAL.....

I absolutely love this guy....he embodies everything that a patriot should hold dear.  He was also 4 time state champion from one of the greatest wrestling high schools in our nation- Graham...His record for his entire high school career was 150 WINS....1 LOSS!

This man walks the walk and talks the talk...he IS the REAL DEAL! No one in Washington can hold a candle to this man's morals and values....

Jim Jordan is the ONLY politician in Washington with MORALS!

The problem is that good men like Jordan are far outnumbered by those who are anti-American and only care about themselves and their contibutors.  I hope that more and more people are waking up every day and will vote those out of office.

It only takes one person mammaw to stand with WE THE PEOPLE and make an impact in Washington. We actually have 2 if you count Jeff Sessions....

This guy really cares about America AND "We the legal"......he's not in Washington to make a buck for himself, he is there to make a difference..

You are right though Mammaw.....he is far outnumbered by the scumbags on the hill.

Jim Jordan is a "keeper"...I want this guy to further his experience as he recently joined the House Judiciary committee.....

He is the closest thing to Reagan EVER....except that he is not as good at public speaking as Reagan even though he is effective with getting his point across.

Jordan is a cutie, he is also sincere, and has values most don't measure up to.  He is someone we can count on.  I have met him, and he is a very caring and sincere man.

Wouldn't he be an EXCELLENT choice in 2012 for President? This guy literally works his tail off for all of the causes that we hold so dear....fighting amnesty bills, working on beefing up law enforcement against employers of illegals, fighting stupid earmarks in bills....the list is endless! 

He's a really decent, compassionate man.....and like mammaw said, it is rare to find someone of his caliber in Washington. He really cares about America and his fellow patriots. I respect this man so much for going against the grain of his fellow congressmen and telling them they are WRONG! He is right...they ARE wrong!

It seems that Jordan has kept his promises.  Most forget us as soon as they are in DC.  Latta (5th district) isn't too bad either.  He tries, he asks for input from us, but he voted for the farm bill.
