FS consensus candidate?

I enjoy the passion of the dialogue hear at FS but I long for action not words. I admire what they are doing at NoMoreInvasion and would like to be part of it but live far away from the action. So I started thinking what I could do that would have an effect on the situation.

I have come to the conclusion that most of us feel the same way about the illegal alien issue and about our three top tier presidential choices, I call them Three Amigos and will refer to them as such.

I have a few Ideas but here is the one that comes to the top.

ONE:

I submit that we endeavor to channel all of our passion toward achievable goals. It will take time to define and refine them so now is the time to get started.

What can we really get done?

1. Vote for someone other than the Three Amigos who can win? NO
2. Vote someone to send a message and promote our values better? YES

Who should we vote for?

1. Our own personal favorite? Maybe
2. A FS consensus candidate? Yes

I intend to write in Romney as of now but I can be persuaded to change if it will have a larger impact. The only way this will be relevant is if a good number of us are willing to be flexible. For example I believe that Ron Paul (please take no offence) would be a poor president. However since the Three Amigos are also poor choices I would vote for him if he became the FS Consensus candidate. If we can agree on a candidate then we could pass it along to other blogs etc. and while not expecting to will we could be heard.

What about having Baldwin and Barr as the candidates that we all support by mentioning both of them. We ccan get the word out so much faster and more powerfully if we come together and work together.

This will also show that our opponents are dealing with an intelligent, pragmatic group of people who know how to challenge the elite in a way that makes a third party victory possible. United in purpose and effort we will stand and divided we will surely fall.
