My friends, you patriots,
Though long-winded, this is worth the read!

Earlier this year, while guarding the holes in the border fence near Campo, CA with Lil Dog & The Mountain Minutemen of patriot Point, I asked him, "Why do we scramble for pans in the rain instead of patching/replacing the roof"? Lil
Dog didn't know. "So why don't we patch the fence instead of watching all the holes?" His response was, "Go for it". I did.

Horsepuckies assurred me that the fence was built & "maintained" by the Army Corps of Engineers So I called the Princess & asked her to find out who is in charge of the fence & contact him. Somehow, she got the cell # of one Sgt. Major Jeff Koontz who is responsible for the fence in the Campo area. She told him how appalled she was to have smugglers & other illegals just traipsing through the fence at will & that I would like to speak to him about it.

I called as soon as I returned home & asked him how I could go about fixing the major holes in the fence & could he be of any assistance to me. After telling me that he would rather I not repair the fence myself, he agreed to inspect that section which he admitted he had never seen. I put him in touch with Lil Dog.

Well, he went to visit Patriot Point & Horsepuckies took him on "The Tecate Cruise".  This is a 5 mile tour of where the fence runs, stops, starts again, disappears & reappears.   He was astounded & appalled at the lack of fencing. Soon afterwards he informed us that they had COMPLETELY reevaluated their fence priorities & would be building new fencing along the entire run from Jacumba to west of Tecate, a distance of about 40 miles!!! We did this, all of us standing together!

Today, Thursday, 3/17/08 Mountain Minutemen & Save Our State Members, Lil Dog, Horsepuckies, Bonfire, Press One For English, Merlin, Richard, & Edwina were at Patriot Point to welcome Sgt. Major Jeff Koontz,(Assistant to the Fence Project Director), & Lt. Col. Jennifer Howe (Assistant Provost Marshall), To kick off the project & get final questions answered. They assurred us that construction will begin the first week of JUNE!!!
Anybody up for a ribbon-cutting in Campo? All other groups interested in securing America's borders are welcome!!!
