This is getting absurd, this over twice the time the 5th circut generally takes, surely they could send the Agents home while they make up their minds. I feel their going to drag this out as long as possible to placate the Mexican govt. and the Drug Cartels. I see Bush just pardoned 15 more crooks and left Ramos and Compean sit in prison, talk about a Benedict Arnold, He had this World Govt. agenda all the time he was lying to the people that supported Him, isn't it a coincidence that we have 3 World Govt. people running for office, you can't even vote for the one hate the least, you can tell McCain is the designated loser. When anyone of these takes office, it's the end of our Nation as our fore Fathers Republic. We will become the Sweedon and Denmark of the North American Union.

We need to support the Agent's family's, they are really struggling now, I'm sure their not getting the support they were a year ago, it's the old Sutton strategy, drag it out and slowly the supporters will drop out.

We are being Governed by wicked people, who could care less what the people want, they now have control of all the Govt. Look at Ramos and Compean, no matter what the people ask, they may as well tell you to go to Hell. Even when our Congressmen ask, they just blowthem off as do the Judges, We are in a world of hurt and most people don't have a clue.

I ask everybody please don't forget Ramos and Compean!!!!!

Why don't we agree to use your thread for this subject from now on, Jim.  We had some very good responses to the "02/25/08 ~ AGENTS RAMOS AND COMPEAN" forum title.  However, the last page got messed up from some sort of programming errors in web page contruction and "textwrap" is no longer working.

What those of us should do that have posted there is break all the rules and cross post what we feel were important points and place them here.  "Capable Network" is the outfit that has constructed this site.  They've been notified, but past experience has shown that they may not/can not fix the problem.

If you are referring to your ideas on "02/28/08 ~ AGENTS RAMOS AND COMPEAN", they all make a lot of sense.  However, that forum is all messed up by some sort of website programming errors.  Please read my post above, where it was suggested that we use this forum title instead in the future.  The problem is that others are not going to visit the other thread any longer because of the way it posts.  The text is hard to read because the "textwrap" is disabled.  This happened partway down page 6 for some reason.

Why don't you cross post  your ideas here, Elaina?  That way others who visit here will know what you are referring to.

As an addition to Jim's comments the following is added:

Ramos and Compean entered prison on January 5, 2007. and had their hearing on December 3, 2007 (364 days).  The conclusion of the judges was that it would take them 60 days to render an opinion on the appeal (February 1, 2007).  It is now April 3, 2008 (60 days overdue).  Ask yourselves, those of you who work for someone else, what would YOUR boss say if you exibited this kind of performance?

PLEASE don't give these people a pass, just because they wear robes.

EE, I was  brainstorming about a rally, perhaps in NO.  In order to make the biggest impact, we should contact all like minded groups, like #'sUSA, american freedom riders, the minutemen, folks here on FS, get Laura, Sean , Glenn, and Michelle on board for coverage.  And I believe the more controversy we create prior to the rally, the more coverage we will get.

And if people want to donate money to the family, they may.  Perhaps we even would have enough left over to sue the pants off of Sutton.

Did you mean November?  That's much too late.  Anything like this should take place at least 3 months prior to the elections.  If the ruckus has enough vigor it should force responses from the candidates (?).

Thanks for the correction.

And what might be your thoughts on what you would add to Elaina's suggestions?

I am so sorry about the confusion.  I get lazy when I get tired.  Sorry.

Any other feedback about my ideas?

**I am going to contact Steve and Sean and ask if they would be willing to handle the money end of this and if they will when the money is there to do it, then put someone to work on the graphics and text.**

Let's consider for a moment that

1. We fail to raise the required amount for the ad

2. Would everyone agree that what ever amount collected could then be split between the Ramos & Compean families ?

If we can't agree on number 2 then this could cause any number of problems for Steve and Sean. We will need a definate deadline for donations.

OR:

1. We raise the money for the ad and the amount we raise goes beyond the cost

2. The paper refuses to run the ad... Would everyone agree that all monies collected then be split between the Ramos and Compean families.

Again if we can't agree on number 2 that is a major problem.

****Before I contact Steve or Sean I would like everyone on this thread to input on whether you agree, and if you have additional ideas.

Well from the posts that came after this on the other thread

I can only assume we are not going to be able to agree on the

ad or the disposition of raised money. So I won't worry about that anymore on this thread.

I will just keep sending money to Nacho & Jose's

family members. Then when Sean completes

the Petition it will be posted here at least

that is one thing we can agree on.
