10 illegal immigrants arrested; 7 are alleged gang members

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville-Hall County Gang Task Force recently arrested 10 illegal immigrants.

Task force officers were assisted by federal agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

"Of the 10 individuals that were arrested, seven were documented gang members and three had no known gang affiliation," Lt. Scott Ware said.

Ware said three arrests which were not gang related, were charged with forgery. He said these individuals had fake social security cards, which were not legally issued by the United States.

Ware said all 10 were in the country illegally.

He said the arrests were made Thursday in several parts of Hall County
