What's with the pop ups???

I don't know about anyone else, but even though I have pop ups blocked, since you've added this "adgardener" as a sponsor, in the last 30 minutes, I've received 47 pop ups from adgardener and you have to click the "x" about 5 times to get rid of them!  Knock it off already!  Whose hairbrained idea was adding that garbage?  It keeps up, and I'm outta here.  This is BS!

Thank God I'm not going crazy.  I thought it was just me.  I'm also getting Flip a quarter.  I'm going to flip something else.  This is ridiculous. 

You got it.....that flip a quarter is the one you need to click about 5 times to get rid of it.  It's a royal pain in the a$$!!

I only get one popup all the time something about a poll or survey and it's easy to click off....annoying just the same.  Maybe my msn blocker is stronger.

 I have noticed that the pages are really slow to load lately,  though.

Oooh -- I just noticed the Vonage ad starts by talking about cheap calls to MEXICO -- on the FireSociety site..........

I haven't seen these new ads -- will keep my eyes open!

Don't do business with Vonage. Their commercials are over-stated, services are sub-standard and they lie, out right. I tried them thinking I could save money, but their service does not work with a home security system, although Vonage says their technology will.

 I lost my phone number of over 20 years, had to go back to my original carrier, because Vonage will say almost anything. Their service would handshake with my security system, if I upgraded my security for the small fee of $300+. Vonage and some security providers are a scam. No wonder Vonage, Cricket phone centers are full of folks who don't speak English.

A little off the topic, but a red flag none the less.

Well, here we are, about 15 minutes online, and so far, 53 ads have been blocked, and about 25 from that stupid adgardener.com are getting through.  I went into McAfee and made sure all pop ups are blocked.  No avail.  I even specifically blocked adgardener.com and it still does pop ups!

Hurray! I finally managed to get them blocked. We'll see if I blocked anything else in the process but after 113 blocks and 42 pop ups in about 15 or 20 minutes, I don't care!

About a month ago I must have picked up some horrible virus on my computer.  The pop-ups would NOT stop and the computer was getting slower and slower.  A friend, a computer tech, recommended some free downloads to help out.  I was skeptical at first, thinking nothing is free, but he said no they really are.  So anyway, I downloaded:     Spybot Search & Destroy and put in a firewall from "Comodo."  Magic!!!  No problems at all since that time.
