Too much mail...too many links coming to my address

How do I stop all this mail coming into my e-mail address?  If I want to see what others are saying, comments being made, etc., I can easily log on and look them up.  I don't want my computer jammed with all this mail!  Help!  Ghostwriter

The mistake was clicking on "E-mail me when comments are added to this thread"!  I opted out of receiving mail just in case.  I'm new to this but thought I should at least put in my two cents worth when I had an opportunity.  I have been a longtime member of Grassfire.org.  In fact, the founders had a different setup years ago that helped make a difference in our lives.  Fire Society is fairly new to me although I have seen the mail come into my address.  I decided to partake because of the "Rules"!  No use in getting rude with one another.  We see too much of that between the political parties, especially on the Left.
