I need info on "Comcast", Houston, TX! BOYCOTT COMCAST!

Today in the mail I received an ad from Comcast. The ad has Spanish in large print first and English, second in small print.  It has happened - Spanish is now the  #1 lanquage in the U.S. A.. I keep calling Comcast asking for someone in management and they tell me it's the post offices' fault.  I told them they paid for the printing, not the post office. I get nowhere.  Where can I go to find phone numbers for directors, managers, etc....

This is the final straw. Boycott Comcast those UnAmerican traitors!

Have been for a couple years, I have Direct TV, and I swear, the idiots too stupid to work for or who were fired by comcast were hired by Direct TV!!!  You want to avoid talking to THEIR tech support too, sigh, does anyone take pride in their jobs anymore????

I may be mistaken but comcast is totally run by black folks at least that is all you ever see on their tv spots. Have not seen one white folk in the upper management. Talking to them is like talking to a log.

I have basic cable from comcast, Only for cable internet, but on t.v almost all there channels are in spanish.  I have complained many times with not avail. Thank god for Direct TV

I wrote a nasty email to Comcast investors,   Asked them if they could please return to Mexico where they belong and bring back American company Time Warner.

Charter cable is just as bad, maybe worse!  Everytime that add more channels in spanish they increase their prices. I called them & said I wasn't going to pay more so the illegals could watch TV - they temporarily lowered my rates but then a couple months later doubled it! Like you, I had no luck with "customer service". I hate what our country is becoming.  In my mind it should be Death or Deportation, don't care which!

Thanks for the news about Comcast. I was going to look at them because Road Runner has gotten sky high, but I have my phone, internet and tv through them. Now I will stay with them but even RR has come to a big bilingual status. THIS IS NOT RIGHT in our Country. When does America stop pandering to the Spanish language?

Deerhunter you think RR is high I had RR before comcast took over. The identical package with comcast was 45 dollars a month more. My cable bill was 199.00 a month before I reduced services.

I had a Comcast tech sent out to my house a couple of weeks ago -- scheduled by Earthlink.  When he got here, he first called his boss because he didn't think they supported Earthlink anymore!

Blaze & Deerhunter -- are you talking about full service -- cable, phone, internet?  I pay Comcast $43/mo. for high-speed internet and that incudes service thru Earthlink.  That should be similar to Comcast/Roadrunner shouldn't it (unless you're also talking about other services bundled)?

Yeah Jim, I am personally talking about all three, plus I have Cinemax, Showtime, HBO, TMC, internet and voip phone service. I have been told that you can't trace voip. I don't know if that is true or not, but it really doesn't matter to me. I am also on the Do Not Call List. If that even matters also. I like RR, but they keep rising in cost. VOIP=Voice Over Internet Provider.

OK -- at least that makes a little more sense as to the disparity.  Interesting that Roadrunner keeps going up -- Eartlink has remained constant from when I first went with them for dialup and later high-speed -- course they're having financial problems..........

Let's see -- apples to apples for me would be $43 for internet, DirecTV $65 (3 sets -- NO premium channels), and phone about $40 (+ long distance but use cell phone for that mostly) or about $148/mo.

Well, it's 55.00 +tax for the internet because of my speeds. My phone costs 65.00 +tax and my 4 tv's with DVR and TVO and HD costs 65.00 + tax. Yup, they charge each individual service tax. So that explains my last bill and I can call long distance and also Canada and Puerto Rico for that amount. I still think it's too high, but, if I change my plan, it will cost even more for less. Does that make any sense? It doesn't to me except I am locked in at that price forever or until I do away with it.

FYI: AT&T is now out trying to replace comcast. They are offering free installation, phone, tv , dvr,  internet,  Call them and see what there prices are and see if they're in your area.
