Mexican official says NAFTA includes superhighways
'Transportation linking the United States, Mexico and Canada is key to the future'

While President Bush and other U.S. officials have derided fears of a NAFTA superhighway as merely conspiracy theory, a Mexican transportation expert contends the trade agreement includes plans for a network of international ship, rail and truck connections to deliver consumer goods from China and the Far East to Mexico, the U.S. and Canada."Transportation linking the United States, Mexico and Canada is key to the future of NAFTA," Eduardo Aspero, president of the Mexican Intermodal Association, told a recent luncheon sponsored by the Free Trade Alliance San Antonio. In transportation economics, the term "intermodal" refers to the ability to move a container by crane to different modes of transportation, including ship, truck and railroad, without having to unpack or repack the container."It was interesting how the NAFTA transportation network so vehemently denied by the U.S. government was alive and well in Aspero's speech and openly discussed in San Antonio," said Terri Hall, founder of the San Antonio Toll Party.

I am printing this out and taking it to my "Town Hall Meeting" with my congressmen Brad Sherman on Sunday March 30th.

I am going to ask him to begin a revision of the Nafta agreement to end it as it currently stands now and then to revisit a version that is by Americans and for Americans in which American citizens have a vote on what is done.

This is the same meeting that I am going to ask him to sign the SAVE Act and the SAVE Act Petition.

Will let you know how it goes.

While President Bush and other U.S. officials have derided fears of a NAFTA superhighway as merely conspiracy theory, a Mexican transportation expert contends the trade agreement includes plans for a network of international ship, rail and truck connections to deliver consumer goods from China and the Far East to Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.

"Transportation linking the United States, Mexico and Canada is key to the future of NAFTA," Eduardo Aspero, president of the Mexican Intermodal Association, told a recent luncheon sponsored by the Free Trade Alliance San Antonio.

In transportation economics, the term "intermodal" refers to the ability to move a container by crane to different modes of transportation, including ship, truck and railroad, without having to unpack or repack the container.

"It was interesting how the NAFTA transportation network so vehemently denied by the U.S. government was alive and well in Aspero's speech and openly discussed in San Antonio," said Terri Hall, founder of the San Antonio Toll Party.

WND reported President Bush, while attending the third annual summit of the Security and Prosperity Partnership meeting in Quebec last August said in an internationally televised press conference that those who believe the SPP might lead to NAFTA superhighways or a North American Union are "conspiracy theorists."

Hall, who attended Aspero's San Antonio speech, is a political activist whose website, TexasTurf.org, is dedicated to fighting the Trans-Texas Corridor and the expansion of toll roads in the state.

Aspero focused on plans by the Chinese firm of Hutchison Ports Holdings to develop the deep-water Mexican ports of Lazaro Cardenas and Manzanillo, on the Pacific Ocean south of Texas, to bring containers from China into North America.

As WND has reported, Hutchison Ports Holdings is paying billions of dollars to deepen Mexican ports such as Lazaro Cardenas and Manzanillo in anticipation of the arrival of post-Pamamex mega-ships capable of holding up to 12,500 containers currently being built for Chinese shipping lines.

WND also has reported how the U.S. southern border is being blurred for the benefit of global trade, with the official website of the Mexican northeastern state of Nuevo Leon disclosing plans to extend the Trans-Texas Corridor south through Monterrey to connect with Pacific ports in Mexico.

Aspero noted that currently 400,000 containers a year are being transported by truck and rail from Mexican ports on the Pacific into the U.S.Surprised

"The purpose of ports such as Lazaro Cardenas is to facilitate the cost-efficient transportation of container goods from Asia into the United States," he explained.Surprised

"Lazaro Cardenas is the new hope for intermodalism in Mexico," Aspero said, noting that Lazaro Cardenas is Mexico's deepest port at 49 feet, capable of accepting virtually any cargo ship in the world.Surprised

"Aspero noted that the largest markets for the Chinese-manufactured goods are at the center of the United States and in the Northeast," Hall said.Surprised

"He was trying to explain why multi-national corporations engaged in global trade continue to pressure the Bush administration," she continued. "Their goal is to cut loose American longshoremen on the West Coast in favor of the cheaper Mexican labor that can get goods into the interior of the United States through the southern route from these Mexican ports on the Pacific."Surprised

Aspero also argued the Automated Manifest System (AMS) put in place by U.S. Customs in 2002 is a key development in North American intermodal transportation.

"AMS allows cargo from Asia to go through Mexican ports virtually without any physical inspection," he explained. "AMS pre-clears cargo at the point of origin, not at the border when the container enters the YellUnited States."

NAFTA: Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton campaigns equally implicated in deceiving American people

"Psssst! Canada! Ignore us, it's just politics...."

by Dee Nicholson

  NAFTA

The American state of Ohio has been battered by job losses as a result of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), so it was not much of a surprise to hear Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton both slamming the deal there weeks ago, during a televised debate in their campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination.

What was shocking, however, was the revelation that aired on the CTV National News that both camps had made warning calls to Canadian officials (including Canada's ambassador to the USA) well in advance of the debate, advising that Canada shouldn't get upset about the statements as "they don't mean anything, it's just politics".

Meanwhile, Mr. Obama is talking about "taking the hammer" to NAFTA while Hilary wants to opt out unless it's renegotiated. (Like they aren't getting a fair deal, already)

Wow. Don't the two of them look like they are engaged in political theatre, presenting rather eloquent but disingenuous rhetoric to garner the electoral votes needed to grab the Democratic nomination? Maybe they didn't think they were lying, if they averted an international incident first. Or maybe they thought nobody stateside would notice, as long as the Canadians didn't get too uppity about it.

This was apparent malice aforethought by both political teams in an unusual synchrony, whatever their logic. The bottom line here is that both Ms. Clinton and Mr. Obama are revealed as opportunistic frauds with amazingly similar eloquent ass-covering styles.

Call me old-fashioned, but to my mind, the fabrication of ridiculously self-serving lies to get nominated ought to disqualify any candidate from holding public office. Are we so inured to lying politicians nowadays that we can catch them red-handed and will still vote for them? Are Americans? If so, ‘colour’ us doomed.

I found it intriguing that while both teams apparently talked to Canada, the media has not uncovered any such calls to Mexico, despite that nation's "equal" membership in NAFTA. An ironic twist is the fact that Ohio did not lose any jobs to Canadians, they lost them to Mexicans.

I prefer to call you truthful an honest, not old-fashioned! I whole-heartedly agree with you. We should also ban members of Congress from being members of caucuses based on race or ethnicity. I want my elected official to represent me, not my color or religion or nationality. I want to be represented as an American. If not, then the American dream is a pipe dream. Every nation in the world has failed at some time except the USA. We are rapidly heading to failure with our official voting on their blood lines instead of American interests.

You are right, "colour" us doomed if we do not recognize "dishonour".

Try this on for darkness...

This is in Spanish from the following group's website.

The english version follows it as a picture as it would not let me copy...It is much shorter...Anyone read Spanish?

Well, the picture is unreadable so go to the link. Espesially note their motto in the upper right corner.

Would all agree that both Bushes, Clinton, and the State Department Attoney General, Secutary Of State, and the Congress all view our country as part of a global entity. Not a Sovereign Nation as we do.

I know this sets your teeth on edge, however, you are only partly right.

As hard as this may be for you to believe, the present administration is not as sold out to this as you think.

There is definitely a one world order coming and the "ac" is the one who sets it up. The devil's henchmen are spread around and disguised well. They will come out of the woodwork when they feel safe. I lean more heavily to most of them being Democrats.

Of course. I have been fighting this, it seems as if forever! Lets face it the u.s. government means to go global, unless we the people keep on fighting and even then if A lot of Americans don't wake up it will still happen. I was working for General Motors in 1993 when BILL CLINTON MANAGED TO GET NAFTA passed and I tried to fight it then,  I don't know the corporation  who owns BORDERLESS, but do know what it is all about!!! I watched the power point

p.hunt, I did watch the powerpoint. From my business perspective it is not conclusive that it has untoward intent. This does not mean ignore this organization. Likely there are areas to be concerned about. I just don't know what they are at this moment.

Greg, If there is any indicaton the Bush Administration has done anything to curb the flow of immigration, legal or illegal, nor to protect American Jobs from the ravages of Free Trade, or the plundering of our markets by Multinationals it is certianly not apparant. It is especially annoying to me when he gets in front of the cameras and tells the American People how great Free Trade is for them.

Maybe you could tell me what phase of Globaism he has restrained.

Somehow you and many others perceive the President has all power. Congress has the bulk of power yet everything Congress does gets blamed on the President. This is more liberal mushbrain. It makes the President "blameable" for anything and everything that happens.

President Bush changed his tune last election because "the people spoke" that they wanted liberal Democratic thinking. So they are getting what they asked for.

And he is getting blamed for all of it.

This is what happens because of apathy.

We all let the politicians be totally unaccountable. This is apparent by the one fact that Washington D.C. has more prostitutes than the entire rest of the country put together.

The President and Laura are not just outsiders to this way of living they hate it. And this is why sorry Soros identified how easy it would be to whip most people into a "hate Bush" mentality.

People just love to find a scapegoat to blame all their troubles on. Especially two people who spend lots of time in the Word together. There is no comparison between the decency anyone will observe touring the Whitehouse today and the Clinton years. You will see many staffers doing Bible studies. Not raping women in the hallway. The real blame is on the people.

The stupidity of all this will become apparent when Hillary gets in and it becomes absolutely obvious all this is part of the liberal grand plan to take over the USA. They have succeded pushing off the blame that is on them to their enemy.

Maybe the President is too sympathetic to Mexicans. He has close relatives married to Mexicans. This is not a pass. It does make your criticism appear valid. And as serious as the immigration and import problems are they are taking all the heat off the liberals enabling them to acquire absolute power.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Only then it will be too late to take back what we are about to lose.

So if everyone is sold out there is no possibility of fixing anything and all this talk is worthless.
