Members of SaveOurState.org will be joining the Mountain Minutemen & assembling at Patriot Point near Campo CA on April 4th for a "Light Up The Line" rally & border patrol. For one week we will use headlights, floodlights, generators, flashlights & whatever it takes to illuminate that section of the border to frustrate the efforts of human & drug smugglers. We want to totally shut down 5-10 miles of the most violated section of America's southern border. It is my personal opinion that anyone who is within 200 miles of the border, especially those with testicles should feel compelled to put in some time guarding America if they want to be considered a patriot.
The little border fence that exists is made from climbable, corrugated steel plates that measure 20" wide by 12' long. they lock together & are welded to steel posts & reach about 8-10 feet high. They are what are/were used to construct temporary landing fields. It would work somewhat if it were not for the 200-20,000 ft. gaps that let the smugglers through. These gaps need to be guarded & we are gonna do it. This will be no picnic or vacation but a local rancher who lives about 5 miles from the border is offering a section of his 160 acre ranch as safe place to camp for any who want to bring ladies or children. There is hiking, horses & horseshoe pits. Bring mountain bikes.
Here is a chance for all of you to really contribute time, money, yourself, whatever to the cause you have signed up for. We need you, your country needs you. Don't pass up this chance to help. Come for the week, a weekend, a day or two, whatever, just please come help us.

If I din't live about 1100 miles from that southern border I would be there right with you.I am a proven doer. When I retire I plan on putting some time down there.I live about 550 miles from the northern border. But it is the southern border that is more of a problem.I think it is great of you for doing this.
For all who have fallen,we must move forward But, for the right reasons.*In my mind, so called "legal residency" is just as a threat as illegal immigration and it the missing topic in the immigration debate.*Every man dies, but not every man truely lives*
This is a great idea but only if it serves a much larger purpose!
I recommend that your groups send out press releases and be sure to tell the journalist that your groups support the Safe America Act (www.SafeAmericaAct.com), the only legislation proposal by the grass roots community that will permanently end illegal immigration and ensure the borders are secured within 6 months, stop the NAU, and much more.
That way, your event offers more voter awareness building both locally and nationally for the issues and gets people to focus on one umbrella project where everyone can gather and be counted.
If we don't build awareness nationally, we will never get the 12- 15 million voters now estimated to be needed to defeat the next two major amnesty attempts that are planned by the Dem Party (one this summer and one after the elections in early 2009). The current anti-illegal immigration bills proposed by the Senate do not have enough support in the Congress to even have a remote chance at winning---we can only win by building major voter support and to do that we must get organized and work together as a team, which is why the PUA created for us the Safe America Act Coalition (we can all use it to come together and work together).
We need you and your supporters to join in on this effort please! Also send it to your members and you can please post this online on your site that would be great.
