Arizona Town In An Uproar.

This story was on MSNBC.com and talks about an Illegal alien being arrested for being parked in a fire lane and driving without a license. But, what surprised me was this excerpt:

"The episode has caused a furor in town, with teachers and others complaining that Acosta's treatment violated the spirit, if not the letter, of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that has all but made the nation's public schools safe havens for illegal immigrants."

I had never heard of such a rediculous claim. Does anyone know when the Supreme Court ruling even correlates with this claim, mentioned above?

Hi Creampuff, I had read about this and it is just infuriating that these people, ILLEGALS, have the audacity to get so huffy and self-righteous on these issues.  This incident actually happened in Roswell, New Mexico, just about 100 miles or so from where I live.  I aggree with what a lot of the people in Roswell have to say.  I cut and pasted part of the article below:

"" But others in Roswell resent the influx of Mexicans who are in the U.S. illegally and complain the newcomers are using resources such as hospital emergency rooms without paying enough in taxes.""

This is exactly what is happening throughout the country.....these people somehow think they have a "right" and it sickens me and a lot of Americans who are being sucked dry financially because of this.

That's probably not the kind of alien folks go to Roswell to see.

I wish things like that would happen more often.  She's here illegally, still in high school, and already pregnant with her anchor baby.  How pathetic.

I hope she's still in Mexico when she gives birth.

People in Roswell need to rise up against these illegals who are making such a fuss about the law actually being enforced.  I'm sure they'll let their local government know how they feel.
