This may be the last straw...
The New York Times' Executive Editor Bill Keller is now trying to blame conservatives for the blowup over the Times' outrageously shoddy journalism!
Keller adamantly refuses to accept any responsibility for the Times' tabloid attack on John McCain.
And now he's turning his guns on you and me -- blaming us for the controversy surrounding the Times' article.
My boss Brent Bozell is outraged. Just yesterday Brent labeled The New York Times a "national disgrace" and called for the immediate dismissal of Bill Keller. Brent says that Keller's dismissal is the "only hope of beginning to rebuild the Times' reputation."
+ + Tell The New York Times: Editor Keller Must Go!
That is why, today, the MRC is launching a nationwide grassroots campaign calling for the resignation or immediate dismissal of New York Times Executive Editor Bill Keller.
We want to flood Keller's office and nine other key Times officials with thousands of faxes from citizens like you, demanding that Keller be dismissed as a first step to restoring that paper's credibility.
Go here to schedule your faxes to the key leaders at the New York Times right now:
http://www.mrcaction.org/1523/offer.a... /> (As always, if you prefer to send your own faxes, we have provided all the information you need, including a sample fax message, on the page. Just click above.)
+ + New York Times must be held accountable
As I shared with you a few days ago, Brent is determined that the Times must not get away with such shoddy and dangerous journalism -- and we certainly cannot let them blame conservatives!
That is why we decided to launch this fax campaign.
In fact, when you schedule your faxes (in appreciation of a tax-deductible gift to the MRC), you can also choose to send a Certified Letter directly to the Times’ publisher.
I would very much like to see the Times' Publisher get hundreds of Certified Letters from citizens like you!
Please go here to take action:
http://www.mrcaction.org/1523/offer.a... /> This is such a clear example of how the liberal media is trying to determine the outcome of the elections. It is shameful and despicable -- and now Bill Keller is trying to turn the tables and blame you and me!
Brent is determined not to let this happen.
Please stand with the MRC to expose the Times' bias by taking action -- either by sending your own faxes or using our convenient service.
Thank you for the vital part you play in MRC Action!

I'm not sure that firing Bill Keller, Editor of the NYT is the fix needed. Look at the background of the reporter staff, liberal arts grads with an emphasis on Liberal, taught, in many cases, by ultra liberal professors who could otherwise not get a decent job doing something productive for our country. A long, long time ago, late 40s early 50s, members of the CPUSA were advised to no longer "carry cards" and to encourage their children to enter the following careers, law (ACLU thank you), Teching, and the media. Just my humble opinion but some of which was learned while a Special Agent OSI.
Paul, I agree in that firing just one person couldn't fix the problem. This is going so much deeper that this. What worries me most is the fact that none of the Media know how to report honestly anymore. What happened to real Journalism? Why is it that we have to double and tripple research every news item to get to the truth? Why don't these so-called Journalists confine their opinions to the Editorial page? I want to know the facts, that's all. But it seems that today we rather read the Daily Gossip than the truth. The NYT is not alone in this, and we can't fire them all, even though we should.
