The president has the power to detain American citizens without charges as enemy combatants. Now, I just have to think here -- I don't know what to think. He's either ignorant or he's saying something far more dangerous. If he is saying that he's not bound by the Supreme Court's interpretation of the law, liberals would have a stroke if Bush claimed the kind of authority that Obama is claiming in this -- and ignorance.

He gets it wrong on who ratifies treaties and who consents to them. He says the president doesn't have the authority to abolish treaties. And the president does! Bush abolished the ABM Treaty shortly after taking office because Bush said it's irrelevant. The Soviets are gone. I'm getting rid of this. The liberals went nuts, but they couldn't stop him because the president does have the authority to get rid of treaties. Obama says here that the president does not have the authority to undermine Congress, the Senate here, which ratifies treaties. The Senate doesn't ratify, they consent to them. The president makes treaties, negotiates them, comes up with them. When is the last time you saw Gorbachev meeting with some senator at Reykjavik or anywhere else? Gorbachev met with Reagan, for crying out loud.
...And Obama wants to run this country, I guess write his own laws,..since he doesn't know our laws!!

I heard on radio yesterday that in obama's book on page 80 he says the only way whites can atone for our behavior is to become islamic.....I plan to go to library today to check...not going to give him my money to buy it!

Obama is Oprah's candidate...she has become quite a racist! Oh, I forgot, racist is only used on those of us that want our laws enforced.

We have got to get this anti-American menace "Hussien Obama" and his destructive force of magetism....out of the way. I'm going to crossover tuesday and vote  Hillary.

Hussein Obama is a smart politician and it's obvious in the way he conducts himself. I must agree with Fox news in that there isn't a nickels worth of difference between him and Hillary and this in essence has come down to a popularity contest. We as Conservatives have for so so long been harping on just how Hillary would be a disaster in the White house and have published and aired so much negative information on her that it worked. Along comes Obama and capitalizes on this and now seemingly has smooth sailing to win the Democratic nomination. So I suggest to many here that we've only ourselves and many many others elsewhere, that we've only ourselves to blame for this current situation. Instead of trying to reinstate Hillary, who truly would be a disaster for the Presidency we NEED TO UNITE AS REPUBLICANS-CONSERVATIVES behind our candidate,even if he isn't what we hoped for, AND SEND OBAMA BACK TO ILLINOIS. Agreed, he would also be equally dangerous as a president. What? are we now going to telegraph the message that we fear him, and we must have Hillary as the Democratic candidate because we don't think we can defeat Hussein, but we will be able to defeat her? That message alone is what is driving thousands if millions away from her and bringing their constiuency out in masses. WE need to strengthen OUR BASE and forget Hillary or Hussein Obama, and stop literally doing their work for them, and start HAMMERING home to Conservative voters just what a travesty either Sen. Clinton or Sen. Hussein Obama would be as president of the U.S.. On this point we have enough time, but let's be shrewd and discontinue doing their dirty work via our over concern for who in the he** their candidate may be. We should give a rats a**. Besides both of them are political jerks. Let's begin by pounding home points as I read above, and get the Conservative constituency out in equal masses to support John McCain, as distasteful as that may seem, and stop bickering amongst one another because our candidate didn't get or won't get the nomination. I think the only racists are Barak and his wife. Her comments on her college paper about oppressive whites, and him always saying in his speech about MLK and thats why he needs to run. You are right Gerald, the continual harping and dumping on Hillary for the past couple years has lead exactly to the problem we have today--the idea that an even MORE liberal/left person might be president--and I do believe he is going to win!  Glenn Beck has even come out on his show the other day saying Hillary and Juan McCain would be bad as Prez, but Obama would be WORSE than anyone can imagine with what he wants to do both internationaly and at home.   He feels that Hillary would be the best Prez because she is so devisive that she would not be able to get much of her agenda passed, where if Obama is elected, and the congress is controlled by the Dems, his agenda will pass thru immediately because they are all so "in love" with him.  And, so will Juan McCains pass as there are enough Repubs to support his ideas like they support Georgie porgies ideas now.   Plus, she has a legacy to want to leave so might be more mallable, she was the ONLY one of the three current candidates who changed her mind on drivers licenses for illegals, the other two have not, especially Obama, he is ADAMANT about them getting drivers licenses!!

I have continually warned people here that while your attention is fixated on the "boogie woman Hillary" you are not seeing the REAL danger sneak up behind you, unfortunately, it falls on deaf ears most of the time!  And now we very probably  have the two worst candidates possible lining up to duke it out for Prez---Obama and McCain!!

We've got to set aside our differences, and get behind McCain.  I know, I know that sounds like a major puke statement, but what are the alternatives?  With the Dems in contorl of all three branches of our government we'll be paying through the nose for decades to come. Just maybe the "Golden EIB Microphone" will too have to relocate itself out of the country or be shut down, if you catch my drift, and believe me it just may be that critical.

I just can't support Juan McCain, he is a liar more so than either of the dem candidates IMO, his "I see the light, enforce the borders, no amnesty at this time" is nothing but a lie!!!  How can I tell??? Well actions speak louder than words, and his hiring of Juan Hernandez to be one of his "campaign advisors from Mexico" tells me EVERYTHING I need to know about Juan McCain!  If you are not informed about Mr "I want NO borders period" Hernandez, google his name and WEEP at how scarey this guy really, really is, and McCain has hired him as an advisor---why would he hire an anti- border, pro 100% amnesty person (former Vincente Fox cabinent member) as an advisor if he intended to enforce the borders? 

And again I ask the question, with all the problems we have, WHY WHY WHY does he need an advisor from Mexico on his staff????

Exactly.  Many Americans are so hungry for "change" that they "cannot see the forrest for the trees." It's our duty to point out by every means at our disposal that the change Barak H. Obama will bring about will be another "nail in our coffin."  The ironic ideology of this is that Sen. Obama truly believes he is right, and just possibly, and even assuredly that is why so many believe him.  The "blind following the blind" scenario with the coyotes and wolves and sharks in a feeding frenzy at his side, and all about him.  We must unite or I truly fear disaster for the United States.  God help us.  Sen. McCain is a choir boy in comparison to what will happen if Sen. Obama is elected.  UNITE NOW!
