The American people have no trust or confidence in us that we would secure the borders. So, I still think that we need tamper-proof biometric documents for temporary workers and anybody who hires them without them will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

No one should be awarded for illegal behavior. And we've got to round up and get rid of the two million people who are in this country who have already committed crimes.

But we are also a humane nation endowed with the qualities of humanity and compassion. And I'm not going to send the wife who is here illegally, of a soldier who is missing in action in Iraq, out of the country. Nor does anybody else want to do that.

But the American people want the borders secured first. And that's the message. And that's what I'm going to do.

MCCAIN: Oh, I think they are. I think they're humane and compassionate people. And when you sit down and discuss it with them, they understand that these are also God's children. But they also have, as all Americans do, a deep and abiding concern about this nation's security since 9/11 and they want the border secured first.

As president, I would have the border state governors certify that the borders are secure.

Idiot.  He might just as well come out and say,...  "I'll give you border security and you give me amnesty for 20 mil illegals".  WHAT AN IDIOT!

This kind and humane stuff is nauseating as people in this country, including children in Appalachia and other impoverished areas go without work, food, heat running water,  medical care and other social necessities, while illegals overtake our system and get it all.  I can hardly contain myself when I think of these injustices.

I doubt there are too many illegal wives of soldiers in Iraq sitting around waiting to be deported.  What a lousy excuse for allowing these hordes to stay and overrun us.

I will never vote for him.  As we have all been saying on FS, we just have to concentrate on electing the right  representatives and senators at all levels, as well as  keeping  up the good fight with the "new" amnesty threats and the Law of the Sea Treaty. 

It doesn't matter what he wants, he will be forced to do the bidding of the American People.

I can vote with out selecting a presidential candidate,  Huck will be my choice in the Primary,  General election,  I will probably just vote for good senators, congressman etc.  And try not to vote for those in the OLD washinton,

He keeps using that example of the brave soldier in Iraq with the illegal mexican wife about to be deported here in the USA!!!  Gee, out of what, 12 million illegals, that probably applies to maybe 50 true families?????  Yet, he makes it seem that almost all of the 12 million illegals are here married to wonderful, brave soldiers serving and maybe dying overseas, so (sob) how can we turn out back on their wives and children---WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 I really think we need to be now flooding the Repbs in congress and the senates offices with "we will NOT support Juan McCain as Prez as long as he is still WAY off base on his illegal aliens proposal, as long as he continues to employ a traitor like Juan Hernandez as one of his advisors.  We need to let the Repubs know we are NOT happy with this choice, and with them if they choose to support him!!

That is why whoever he picks as a veep will be CRITICAL, I think he is not well and not going to make it a full term, he is already acting/talking addled, and 4 more years???  If he picks someone like conde or graham or any of those other pro amnesty types, we might as well kiss this country good bye, as we already know that obama refuses to sign ANY type illegals bill unless it is for full amnesty!  We need to pressure those repubs in office now and also the RNC to make sure they remember we are here, we want Juan hernandez GONE and we want no more amnesty talk, period from juan mccain!

Just as I figured, John McCain has not listened to the American People nor has he sat down with conservatives. The fact is, the American People don't want Illegal aliens here nor do they want a path to citizenship. Apparently, he's only heard from the far left and moderates that are in favor of the biometric system. The conservatives have been trying to pound into his head that they want the people to return home and they want them to get into the far back of the line.

So, it looks like America's voice is once again thrown out the door in favor of special interest groups lobbying to keep the Illegal aliens within this Nation. This wouldn't have happened if the conservative base would have banded behind Tom Tancredo. I knew that all of the other major candidates were lying through their teeth about the promises they were making about border security, especially through out the many debates. However, people continued to vote for Huckabee, Romney, and McCain. So, the ones that did have nothing to complain about when nothing is done about the Illegal aliens. I may not have been able to caucus for Tom due to unforeseen circumstances, but I WILL be able to cast my general election ballot for him since I can walk to my polling place in November. It's only 6 blocks away and I don't need an automobile to get there if something goes wrong. Therefore, my vote will be for Tom Tancredo as a write-in, even if it doesn't actually count. This way, I can't be held accountable for putting one of those other Illegal alien Amnesty sell-outs in office.

If a soldier, who is likely legal, is married to this woman then she becomes legal. There is no more issue of deporting her. This is a deceptive example. SPIT SPIT SPIT

When he spoke before the Conservative he said that appreciated their concern for the rule of law.  BUT he did NOT saw that he would unhold the rule of law and he never, before or since, spoke of amnesty in those terms.  I still don't see any change in his attitude

George "sorry" Soros funded both McCain and Hillary. Democrats, independents, and illegals voted him in, not Republicans.

This is one time I have to eat crow and agree with algebra - it sure looks on the surface like we, the base, have not been allowed to select our candidate. (I don't expect any further digging to change this)

McCain, once again, stuck his thumb in our eye. He probably agrees with Charles Barcley's recent description of conservatives as "phony Christians." Barcley stated he is pro homosexual and pro choice. He stated the reason we are phonies is because we do not forgive.

So, are we supposed to forgive McCain for insulting us?
