Filling in Pond killing wildlife

Can anyone help me please? I called the local media- nothing yet. We have a pond in our neighborhood  or we had a pond in our neighborhood-All of a sudden they are filling it in to make room for homes from 800,000 and up.All the wild life is dying, I went down today and tried to save the clams I could, I sunk all theway down to my knees and lost a shoe, I did however manage to save 7 clams,The turtles and fish are dying, I'm not sure what to do, I checked the EPA here in our area and It doesnt seem they are going to help- any ideas- Please-help me

The EPA, ENRC, etc. don't care one bit. Remember Marcy, we are global and people are blindfolded and I am sick of it. Even though I hunt, I eat what I kill. They have been doing the same thing here Marcy, sad, but true. Our Woodlands are still in great masses, but are withering away with all the people still coming to Florida, just different parts now that Clearwater is no longer good for Surveying and building except to tear down and throw up a CVS, Walgreens, or a Wallyworld somewhere....:(

If you are a little guy the EPA will keep you from filling in the pothole in your driveway. (this has actually happened).   If you are a big corp or in political favor  you can fill in a whole lake.

 Regs are only meant for the little guy.  Now a days if someone doesn't like you they can find a reg you broke and nail you.
