McCain ate Huckabee's dust today.

Huckabee 11,000+ votes 60%

McCain 4,000+votes 24%

Paul 2000+ votes 11%

Kansas has 36 winner take all delegates.

My opinion?  People are not voting for Huckabee, but against McCain

I don't like Huckabee and would not vote for him. I really think he's Jimmy Carter all over again, only with a red sweater on instead of a blue one.

That said, though, I think he should hang right in there, right on into the covention.

I'm disappointed in Romney's decision to stand down. I think he should have hung right in there with the "Huckster" to force a   brokered convention.

That would have given us all more time to raise the "hue and cry" against McCain in order to truly get it through their heads that we don't want him.Besides, its not like things are going to be settled on the "Democratics" side any time soon. It, too, will probably have to be settled at their convention. It wouldn't have hurt to have them both settled in that manner.

I agree we don't want McCain, but realistically, McCain now has 60% of the total needed to become the nominee.  If Huckabee and Paul stay in, and go all the way to convention, it'll be up to the delegates and super delegates to make their deals and pick the nominee.  In addition, Romney suspended, which means he holds onto his delegates for as long as he wants.  In our Washington caucus today, they said we could still vote for Romney.  In our County, Paul 1st, Huckabee 2nd, Romney 3rd, McCain a distant 4th.

I don't like Huckabee either, TTTS.  I don't trust him any further than I can throw him.  The LAST thing I want in the White House is a preacher man, and not a very Christian one at that.

OK guys, what does TTTS mean.  I've seen it a couple times now and my brain isn't making the connection!

Huckabee is ahead in Louisanna and Washington, but the elections have not been called.

McCain just passed Huck up in WA with 78% of the precincts in.  McCain 26%, Huck 24%, Paul 21%

Huck is 2% ahead of McCain in LA with 89% in

If you all hate "McAmnesty" so much why not pull for the Huckster?  $ for $ he's outstripping everyone on both sides.  Hmmmm?  That should say or speak something, eh?

Like it or not, Huckabee has stuck it out.  If I were voting today, I'd vote for Huckabee.  I'm not going to give in to the Democrats...no way.  If it comes down to Clinton or Obama and McCain I won't be able to vote.  I will continue to bug the daylights out of my Senators and congressman regarding illegal immigration, economy and etc..
