Let's have a thread where the Veterans and Friends of Veteran Patriots can meet and try to straighten out this mess while getting to know who we are.

Me I volunteered for Viet Nam in 67 and toured from 2/68 - 2/69.  I was in the Military 7 years and consider myself an active Patriot.

I'd like this thread to be Positive, Informative and anything decent Vet or Active Military wise.

Let's show them we know what the problem is and how to solve it!!!!

Excellent idea Super Patriot.  I'm not a Vet. myself, but my father that is still alive is a WWII Vet., and I wholeheartedly respect and more than 90% of the time believe he has the right perspectives.  Maybe this could be the catalyst that could springboard Dr. Alan Keyes?

That's quite alright, you're a patriot and we need all the help we can get.  Welcome and thanks.

Vietnam 10-69 to 10-70 900+ combat Dustoff missions, wounded by broken back with cuts and bruises, refused Purple Heart.  I have never rescinded my military Oath, and consider islamic theocratism and Mexico to be at war with us.  I don't consider the "cold war " over with communist China, and other communist countries still playing havoc with us.  I consider the "pier takeover in Long Beach" and the militarization of the Panama Canal Zone as very serious breaches by Red China.

McCain is a traitor, and so is Bush.  Almost all the democrats are traitors.  This isn't the country I fought for. and I am ready to fight, this time armed, to get my country back.   I am in favor of anything that gets the illegals and moslems out of this country, no amnesty.  Letting in the moslems was an error, and not securing the border has been treason since 9-11-01.  Not enforcing immigration laws has been felony encouragement, with no excuses, to all in government, federal, state, and local.

Dang, if we were out searching for the perfect Patriot Veteran we couldn't have found one more qualified than you.  Thanks for your service I for one really do appreciate it.  Welcome and I hope you'll be a regular contributor as I told Gerald we need to unite our heads and tackle to real problem we have in front of us.  Thanks mgopilot.  My friend Bob died in Viet Nam when the helicopter he piloted was shot down.  Heros.

You know, I didn't think we would hit so hard!!!  One thing is that I had my pistol, and if the enemy got to me first, was going to use the last bullet on myself.  I really wish McAmnesty would have done the same, or if he lost his pistol, slit his throat with his parachute knife.

It may be for a different reason, but we need to renew this Prayer with the AllMighty.

U.S. Navy Submarine Service veteran active duty 4/62, 4/64, 7 years total service active duty and active reserve. Finished active duty just as Nam was cranking up. May God bless each and every veteran and their families. I had a neighbor Thomas Jerry Curtis USAF rescue chopper pilot who was shot down and captured in 1965 and was released in 1973  like War Hero McCain, difference is  he never wanted any special treatment like McCain. My oath to defend this country still stands today just like it did the day I took it.

US Army  Combat Engineer 12B20. You need an LZ, I'll blow it or bulldoze it toot sweet. And I still hit where I aim and practice every week. But this is MY country and I'll not let it slip away quietly into Socialism. So count me in, boys.

Mgopilot said it all in the second paragraph of his post of 12:22 above.

Proud to renew the prayer, and it also renewed an email I got , of what was written by a Colonel about the treason of those in the Senate, who, on the anniversary of D-Day, did the sacrilege of voting down English as the official language of the United States.

Care to share it?

Back when, I volunteered twice for Nam. I still remember the girls spitting on us and screaming "baby killers" at us in San Fransicko when we got off the plane. Some memories just never go away.

But this is MY country and I'll not let it slip away quietly into Socialism. So count me in, boys.

Gentlemen, I am not a Veteran, but my father was and I work in a career where I meet many wonderful men and women who are....funerals. I hear stories and testimonies that touch my heart and I weep at the courage, dedication and sacrifice made by all of you. I thank EVERY Veteran for their service and sacrifices.

Our firm is small and family owned, but we believe in doing things in our community in addition to having the priviledge of taking care of a deceased person precious to someone. Many are Veterans and our WWII Vets are almost gone.

You may know this name, but we crossed  pathes with a gentleman named Larry Cappeto a few years ago who interviews Veterans for his documentaries. We have sponsored Larry and taken his film into American Legions, VFW's, Retirement Centers and would like to have an audience in our public schools. This is his site. I have seen the "Lest They Be Forgotten" on the Normandy/Utah Beach effort many times and I cannot watch that without crying. Whether it is WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afganistan, Iraq or where ever, our military has been there. I thank you so much for my freedoms.

Sorry for going on, but I personally salute you, respect you and most of all, I appreciate you. This is Larry's site.

Thanks for the post, the site, and the thanks.  We don't want praise, we didn't do it for praise, but thanks sure feels good.  Our pleasure.  And we'll do it again if necessary.
