Looks like Huckabee took W. Virginia, Romney close behind and McCain brought up the rear with 1%!

W. Virginia had a caucus (instead of primary voting), and they reported that McCain got 1% of the total for that state.  W. Virginia is done already because it was a caucus.

That's good news as far as McCain is concerned-just wish the Huckster was out of the picture.

I went to vote for Romney at 11:00AM here in Arizona.  The Voter ID program we adopted in 2005 is working well.  The poll workers said that have been pretty busy all day and turnout looks good.   One of the local hispanic TV stations have a camera crew and reporter on the scene.

I would be ecstatic if McCain was beaten here.  We will watch with interest.  There were a bunch of early voters here that probably wish they had not mailed in votes for Hunter, Tancredo and Thompson and have no recourse to stop McCain now.    I am glad I resisted my early voting urges or I would be with them helplessly sweating out the Liberal McCain train to hell.

It's weird.  Romney had a 8 or 9% lead over Huckabee in W.V. and then within just a few minutes they declared Huckabee the winner.  At least it wasn't McCain, I guess.

How does a caucus work?  McCain went from 167 votes to something like 12 after it said 100% reporting.

Carl Cameron on Fox just reported that no one in WV had enough votes to carry the state so McCain Campaign HQ just ordered their people to throw support to Huckabee.   Huckabee win is irrelevant as a head to head result. If anyone still is pondering whether the Huckabee and McCain camp are in bed together against Romney . . . . Wake up !

Oh Yes,  Huckabee and McCain have teamed up to defeat Romney, so I hope and pray  they both  go in the tank. They must  think Americans  are really stupid not  to see through their  little  charade

So much for supporters of Huckabee claiming he isn't just in the race to defeat Romney.  I wish I could say they'll get what they deserve, but I'll get what they deserve, too if McCain wins.

MSNBC exposed what McCain and Huckabee did.  Mitt is calling them out on it (right now).

Oh yeah Rush said don't even worry about the eastern votes, wait until the western votes go.

Why is it even legal to do that sort of thing?  Why bother voting in the first place?

Romney was well ahead and then he lost.  Two candidates conspiring together to defeat another candidate is at least unethical and possibly criminal.

No, I don't really expect ethics but I still can't get my mind around this.  To say I'm angry is a huge understatement.  At least it solidifies my position to not vote for McCain should he win the nomination.

I am glad Mitt called them on it, even though Rush said not to worry so much.  At least people are seeing the little game for what it is.

Welcome to the Spectacle of American Politics.  The most corrupt sport in the world.
