This is unreal. I'd rather do without this rebate. I'm already sick over McCain's win and now this:
WASHINGTON — The $146 billion stimulus package intended to jolt the economy by giving taxpayers rebates up to $1,200 includes cash returns for illegal immigrants who pay taxes.
Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., told FOX News that the bill will certainly stimulate "more illegal immigration."
"Had the people, during the Revolution, had a suspicion of any attempt to war against Christianity, that Revolution would have been strangled in its cradle... In this age, there can be no substitute for Christianity... That was the religion of the founders of the republic and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants." Just what we need is money given away we already dont have. Last year I was told I have to go to 67 for social security. How about putting our money in that instead and give me back my two stolen years that has been used to aid and abett illegal aliens.
It's time to get on the horn to my senators--just what we need spend more money--and reward illegals!! Tancredo is right--stimulates more immigration. It also will stimulate China's economy since everythins we buy comes from China!!!!
Here is a first draft of a letter I am writing. I will send it at least to the president and my reps. I wish I could blast the whole Congress with it.
Dear Mr. President,
After reading that illegal aliens will qualify for the tax rebate, I have to speak up and share some ideas with you.
First, it is appalling and criminal that people who are in this country illegally and are already sucking the life out of us are going to get this rebate. It's bad enough that they have no respect for our laws, culture, language, and heritage and only come here for the freebies they already get. Now, to add insult to injury, they are being rewarded even further for being criminals. I have to agree with Tom Tancredo on this one; this will certainly encourage more illegal immigration. That seems to be, however, what you and the rest of your dysfunctional government want. You have no concern or regard for the average citizen or legal resident. How else can any of this be explained? Your interests lie only in flooding the market with cheap labor so businesses can make more profits off of our backs.
Illegal aliens cost the federal government alone more than $10 billion every single year. On the state and local levels, it gets even worse. Los Angeles county alone wasted $3 million in November 2007 to give food stamps to these parasitic trespassers. They waste $1 billion every single year on illegal aliens. Houston wasted $600 million on illegals' healthcare costs last year. The numbers are astronomical.
You say you want to stimulate the economy. Well, you can start by deporting the illegal aliens who are depressing our wages. With higher wages, we'll have more money to spend.
Next, with all that money that we save, many things could be done. You could lower our taxes to let us keep more of our money in the first place so we'd have more to spend and save.
You could set up a temporary work program to train more Border Patrol officers and other people to assist with the functions of getting these illegals out of the U.S. where they have no right to be in the first place. Not only would that put Americans to work, it would also give people some recent job experience to put on their resumes. Many of them could transition into other employment in government or the private sector when their jobs have been completed.
You could hire a lot of Americans to actually build the fence we're supposed to have. Mexico insisists on encouraging their unwanted citizens to come here so we need to secure our borders ASAP. There's also no telling how many terrorists have come across our border.
Giving healthcare to illegals who will never pay for it is one of the sources of high medical costs. Get rid of that and healthcare costs will decline. Then, more people would be able to get insurance.
If I were to include everything and every way we would benefit from getting rid of the illegals, I would have to write a book. Every system and infrastructure we have is overburdened by illegal aliens; from hospitals to schools to roads to court systems and jails, and more.
Of course, you already know all of this. You have chosen to ignore the plight of the average American in favor of special interest groups.
Your lousy tax rebate has been turned into another great joke on the American taxpayer. Now, we're forced into giving even more of our own money to these parasites. Enough is enough already.

I called my Representatives local office as well as his Washington Office. No one who can pick up the phone was aware of this so I e-mailed them the article above.
My questions is this: how we can mail a check to someone but we cannot go pick them up and process them for deportation?
Too bad this payout to illegals is not being funded by taking money away from next month's Social Security Checks so it would get some serious attention from a lot of people.
To be a lawabiding American taxpayer is to be taken advantage of......
Also, I encourage everyone to visit the original article link above and send the article to as many people via email as you can. Things like this have a tendency to get buried by the T.V. news. Everyone needs to hear about this.

Good idea ConcernedMom. Done x2. This is too outrageous to stay hushed up. We either have a bunch of traitors or a bunch of idiots who could not make it in the real world in the House of Representatives. How could this big of a blunder be overlooked?
Also, if you don't mind I am going to use your letter as a template to send to my Senators. Good stuff.
Thanks Marcy I am glad to not be alone in my sentiment but sorry we are not both in the better place we deserve.
Giving them free health care and education is not enough they want your money too.....
Just started writing to the Senators that helped us with defeating the amnesty bill. I've gotten over that I'm not getting anything but this another slap in the face.
I keep hearing from the 'experts' that the economy isn't that bad. The problem is SPENDING and all those good house deals made to illegals and people who couldn't afford them some months back--B of A etc.
Now we want to do a quick fix FAST by spending more money--not only a one time cash incentive but they are looking at other incentives like food stamps and of course hand outs to illegals.
I don't get it--Spend more to eliminate a problem caused by excessive spending!!!
Illegals are not paying into the social security system even though they are the only ones working steadily (albeit under the table, probably); therefore, they are not entitled to benefit from the efforts of the American citizens whose jobs have been taken away, most likely arbitrarily. This is another outrage perpetrated on the LEGAL citizens of America.
But, what the heck? Why don't we include the Chinese people who make almost all of our defective products? How about those Mexicans who couldn't make it across the border or were sent back? Maybe the French or Spanish or German or Canadian people would like to be included? I know Chavez wouldn't mind us supporting his people either.
Maybe we could have an "Adopt an American Citizen" campaign amongst the congressional "brains" or is it "drains" where they would let us do their dirty little errands for a crust of bread.
The congressional gravy train has to be stopped. Their concerns do not concern the American citizen. Its time for them to cut back on their benefits, their COLAs, etc. and if they want to pay illegals, let it come out of their latest $4000 monthly raise!
When President Bush proposed an economic stimulus package we thought that was what we were getting -- an economic stimulus package.
But then our Republican leaders decided -- yet again -- to "COMPROMISE."
Amazing isn't it. When conservatives had the majority in Congress, liberals didn't compromise. They stood firm and obstructed legislation at every turn.
So why do our elected leaders see the need to compromise now?
The late-great Senator Barry Goldwater told us about compromise when he said:
"[E]xtremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue."
So now that our elected leaders have reached a compromise, on this economic stimulus package, what do we have?
Let's have a look.
When the stimulus package was first proposed several days ago, the American people were told that TAXPAYERS would get REBATES of up to $800 for individual taxpayers and $1600 for married couples.
But now, according to the Associated Press, $28 billion -- that's 28,000,000,000.00 -- will go to people who never paid taxes in the first place!
Giving a rebate to people who have actually paid taxes so they can keep more of their money is not necessarily a bad thing... we don't need to tell you that.
HereÕs what Congressman Jeb Hensarling said:
ÒIt is clear that hard working families in America are struggling to make ends meet and that the economy needs a boost. Conservatives know that it is never a bad time to let families keep more of their own money. We are, in fact, the ones who have been leading that charge in Congress. We agree that now is an especially good time for family tax relief given rising energy, food, and tuition costs...Ó
But simply handing out $28 billion dollars... that's not economic stimulus... that's not tax relief... that's a welfare entitlement!
Let's be totally and brutally frank for a moment. Times are tough and while government give-aways may appear compassionate, people need real solutions to real problems... not political pandering and government giveaways!
Government give-aways do not provide jobs, relief to the middle-class or help revive a sluggish economy!
What they do, is allow politicians to buy votes... using YOUR MONEY!
But there is hope to provide some real solutions because Hensarling is proposing legislation that will provide real economic stimulus, create jobs, boost the economy, increase government revenues and provide families with much needed tax relief!
Anyone remember the real front runners who stood with us against McCain/Kennedy? I've e-mail Cornyn(my Senator)Sessions, Dole, DeMint, Vitter anyone remember who else really fought for us.I am also going to e-mail all the Senators and the President and may I suggest the link above be sent to all talk radio shows.Maybe if enough people hear us they will stop the maddness.

The following are the other ones I recall stepping out front and speaking up on behalf of the Rule of Law and the American Taxpayer.

SovreignMan, thanks for emailing it. I'm glad you want to use my first draft as a starting point for your own letters. I'm still so mad about this.
