How do you know He hasn't and you just haven't heard?.   He told me over eleven years ago, and I obey His Will.   It wasn't easy, but this true conservative built a solar electric house, with composters, and Eathship with gardens.   Relatively independent, like the pioneers, but I do drive my 6 banger 4WD as little as possible here in God's country.  Theodore Roosevelt would be proud.  Green started as a Republican thing, with him.

When those at the top of the food chain realize that jetting across country from primary to primary is of no benefit to the environment.

Debates should be held on national TV with all issues covered by all candidates and all primaries held on the same day. This would stop one state's primary winners from influencing another's. This would save a fortune of taxpayer's monies for travel and staff expenses. This would keep the "legislators" at their jobs instead of taking the year off to stomp around the country. This might even allow for every candidate to be fairly represented, not just those the media approves of.

You've been green for eleven years?   And still we have global warming?

If I had my way, I'd be flying around in a twin Huey fixed up like a cool RV.   Fold out bunks more comfortable than our Dustoff litters, SunFrost refer and even flexible Unisolar Panels mounted, change the twin inverters we had to sinewave for my guitar amp, and of course, the money to afford and operate it.

I believe Our Father wanted us to live happy, joyous and free, understanding His Laws of Nature and His Limits, sustainably, until the sun goes nova,  He did say to "Replenish the Earth", to put back the equivalent of what we took out.  He said to "Fill the Earth", but not overfill the Earth.

Part of me said go forth and breed the master race, but Hitler said that, and morals from God said to have one to continue the genes, and to help reduce future demands, bringing God's Will of Sustainability to His Gift to US, this Biosphere, on this planet.   Yeah, if everyone, or enough, would do what I did, when I did, and lives the way I do with lower consumption of water and gas, we would not be looking at the water problems of chapter 29, I guest wrote, in "Immigration's Unarmed Invasion:  Deadly Consequences".  Certainly not the worse than worst case scenario of the early 1990s predictions, or the population crash circa 2048.

In the past I called for "niching" the USA.  Being totally self sufficient with everything, like the pioneers.  Unfortunately, China's mercury and the other hundred toxics from their Coal fired power plants hits the west, especially the coast.  The oceans and their gyres of floating plastic trash and near depletion of edible fish, which also have mercury, are in common, too.  Spaceship Earth, just like the book long ago.

I remember as a kid, going through the same Sequoia redwood tree that Teddy Roosevelt did.  The tree has since fallen, just like the ideals of conservation and conservatism that Teddy Roosevelt espoused.   Medal of Honor winner, naturalist, hunter, rancher, adventurer, and proponent of a strong military.  I think he is the best President of all.  Like all ranchers, he understood carrying capacity.  His words on immigration are often quoted.

There is nothing bad about going green like me, or going with the philosophy of a Republican like TR.  It is too bad, the dems took it away, as a political tool.  It shouldn't be "their" political tool, when TR was the first "environmental" President.

Too bad there isn't anyone like him running for President.

We'll have to do with Mitt, and pray he keeps his word, and first, beat the Dem socialist.

Al Gore may be getting richer, but it is no hoax as so many would like to believe for various reasons of ignorance, lack of intelligence, greed, or shame.  A true conservative lives a conservationist and conservative lifestyle.  A RINO lives a life of greed, indulgence and over-consumption--forgeting the deadly sins of greed, sloth, lust, and gluttony.  Pride, too, in thinking he or she knows everything, and therefore human caused pollution problems on a global scale do not exist because they say so.  Living with shame so bad that there is no profile.

Mine is there, for I have nothing to be ashamed of, and one good thing about being a Teddy Roosevelt conservative conservationist is no electric bill.  With the multi-trade capabilities and intelligence, there is also no mortgage payment.  Theodore would love it, and not take kindly to RINO wannabes, the obesity epidemic of America, and the disconnect of most with nature.

....when never. As we most of us know this simple phrase.

THERE IS NO GLOBAL WARMING. THERE IS NO CLIMATE CHANGE.

Plain and simple.

Here's a small story. I go to my local supermarket and they are foolishly promoting these 'Help the Environment' by buying these green grocery bags.

1. I am NOT buying these sickly looking bags.

2. They are not big enough to fit a good deal of groceries.

3. The environment doesn't need our help. (Doesn't hurt to keep our streets clean though.)

4. The first time I saw these bags I wanted to puke and laughed.

Of course human caused global warming is a hoax, mgopilot, and a dangerous and deadly one.   How many people have died because DDT was banned?  How many people are dying in third world countries where we refuse to build more power plants because of this hoax and hospitals and medical care are sadly lacking?  I'm so glad you have no electric bill and are ashamed of nothing.

I'll go green when someone shows me a documented and dated photograph of a wooly mammoth lounging on the hot and sunny Riviera AND a dinosaur romping through deep and drifted snow!

What does banning of DDT have to do with global warming? Nothing (but DDT persists to this day, still causing harm, cancers, and well closings). I was one of the last to spray it before it became illegal(I was an aerial crop sprayer one season after the war), and rightfully so, for its destruction of ecosystems capacity. Sure, it could save lives in Africa, then destroy them with ecosystem failure. I'm not ashamed and have a profile unlike some cowards. The pictures of the arctic Ice sheet change that you can see in the last seven years should be enough for a rational intelligent, if uneducated, person to know something is wrong(NOT IN CYCLE, and WAY TOO FAST). My own ecology started in the 60's and I wrote the paper "Mammal Populations in Ecological Niches, Including Humans"(1967, and on curve to this day). Global Heating with climate fluctuation, peak oil and depletion, water pollution and depletion, and soil depletion are all just more nails in the coffin of the human species. >>Certainly not what God wanted when He Commanded us to Replenish the Earth. <<That's why I compost a lot.

I don't use those silly bags rather than plastic, but I am far inland away from the NE Pacific trash gyre twice the size of Texas, that is killing a lot of sea life(NOT IN CYCLE). But you probably wouldn't believe that either unless you were put out into the middle of it. It takes up most of the ocean between California and Hawaii. Then we have estuary dead zones you simply must be put in the middle of, like in the Gulf Of Mexico from the Mississippi(NOT IN CYCLE). Do you like the smell of methane? It's like farts. Maybe a summer trip to the melting tundra regions of Alaska and Russia are in order for you(NOT IN CYCLE SPEED, MUCH FASTER). People can waste their money on Gore's carbon credits all they want, but it won't stop the relentless, merciless path of humanity and the biosphere. The long goodbye to the long Rapture, the long, long wait for Jesus, and the regeneration of the biosphere, regeneration of groundwaters, and absorption of all toxins (including nuclear waste).

I don't know if it's proof of Global Warming but I'll bet it's man made and causes warming nonetheless.

mgopilot, part of my faith includes this;

We believe. that...Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.

That doesn't mean that we shouldn't take care of the land that we have stewardship over.  I have a recycling bin in my kitchen that is always full.  I have solar panels on my roof.  I have those new-fangled light bulbs every place they will fit.  Even though we do everything possible to care for the earth, it is going to get polluted to a certain degree.  But I don't believe global warming is caused by people.  It is natual and cyclical.
