The message that alerted the nation:
Felipe Calderon’s U.S. tour. Feb. 13-15!!! From our good friend and correspondent in Mexico City, Edgar Martinez, comes this story.
Edgar suggests we make Senor Calderon feel as welcome as an ILLEGAL alien in Mexico.
The president of Mexico will visit United States and he will present to the Mexican communities an active strategy for the defense of their rights.
Finally, after more than one year in office, the president of Mexico Felipe Calderon will travel for the first time to United States. He will come with a strategy that is proposed to actively defend the rights of the Mexicans in the United States.
From February 13 to the 15 he will visit New York, Los Angeles, Boston and Chicago. The agenda will be focused on meetings with immigrant leaders, to whom the president will present his strategy. Also it is expected that hewill have meetings with U.S. legislators to analyze the possibilities of launching a new initiative for migratory reform. The visit of Calderon will occur four months after he canceled a tour to the U.S.. Back then, the suspension of the tour was decided after diverse nonconformities among common leaders regarding the insufficient activity of Mexico in the matters of migrants in U.S..
This is unacceptable! If this is not a formal state visit, it is absurd and he should not be allowed to come here and "raise the rabble". He could not take care of them in their own country and now he comes to give them advice and instruction. That they listen to him and trust him astounds me. It is enough that his influence over our government is more important that the US citizens' rights.
We all know his "active strategy for the defense of their rights". These rights he will speak of will no doubt refer to the Mexican belief that they own our western states because "they were here first".
I could be wrong, though. Its probably a Valentine's Day visit where he will spread the word on "peace and love".
I know few governments on earth as weak and dum as ours.Lets start with the fundamentals, illegal alliens are enemys of any country, and have no rights. Our great leaders are going to let the leader of the country that is the main problem to lobby and to encourage this behaviour to continue? When our we going to get a leader with a good set of you know what? These protest,I have been to protest, our numbers are not great enough to even make the news.I am sad to say that most Americans think about it but still are not ready to stand up.One thing I admire about our opposition is their passion to protest, remember all the protesters on the news?Until American citizens are willing to do the same thing, nothing will change period. Your fellow patriot.
For all who have fallen,we must move forward But, for the right reasons.*In my mind, so called "legal residency" is just as a threat as illegal immigration and it the missing topic in the immigration debate.*Every man dies, but not every man truely lives*
I don't think it's because of our lack of patriotism that we don't protest! I live near Fort Worth with so much henious crime being committed by illegal aliens...it is fear that keeps me away! Never thought I would feel that way in my own country! i do, however, try to contact someone in government with my views everyday...sometimes I feel like I'm spitting in the wind!
I am discouraged with the American people who will not stand up for their rights. Too often I hear "They (the U.S. Congress) are going to do what they want to do, it doesn't matter what I say"
This morning I was reminded of the civil rights marches 40+years ago and what they accomplished. The American people who participated in those marches are in their 60's and older now, our children and grandchildern do not have the where-with-all to DO those kinds of things today. Are we going to have to take to the streets again to save this nation for them while they sit on their a$$ and watch the events on tv as if it were some kind of sporting event? How pathetic!
The Constitution of the United States of America was written FOR THE PEOPLE. How sad that so few treasure it and understand that the boys and girls in Washington work for WE THE PEOPLE. U.S. Representatives are on a two year contract, the President a 4-year contract and our Senators are on a 6-year contract.
There should be solidarity protests at every Mexican Consulate all across the U.S., not just the handful where Calderon will be visiting.
Interesting that Calderon's visit was scheduled AFTER Super Tuesday.
This link will take you to a page with a number of stories on how Mexico is meddling in our Government affairs.
Not being publicized is Vicente Fox will be visiting Oklahoma on February 5 at two of our Christian universities. The closest to me is two and a half hour drive away. Protests are planned and I will be there!

Yesterday I encourgaed ConcernedMom to continue to contribute to this site--yesterday was one of those days when this senior citizen felt he was making a difference. Today I read about Calderone and I am in a funk again. Who invited him?? Who does he think he is to tell us how to run our country??
There is no question that this has affected my nood negatively. I am beginning to wonder if I one can contract bipolar disease from aging.
Calderone will only inspire the illegals among us to come out and have protest marches again and our elected officials will cave in. The nature of the Mexican and Latin American resident is to take to the streets to protest. The nature of us senior citizens is to take to our keyboards and protest. We get an audience of 77 (for example) people on a given day. They get almost the entire nation through the coverage by the MSM who believe that they have the right to DICTATE how America should be.
"The president of Mexico will visit United States and he will present to the Mexican communities an active strategy for the defense of their rights."
He does not establish the rights of those who stole into our country. He is an insurrectionist. He should be arrested and returned post haste to Mexico. If this is not done , then we should allow Chavez, Castro, and all the rest to come here tou OUR country and tell us how we should run the USA.

Did you notice that illegal immigration has been replaced with the state of the economy in the campaign trail as the number one issue that faces America? Hmmm, Global Elitest Bankers, Global Elitests period whom meddle with the market to achieve their goals. And then this Caldron visit AFTER the heat is off Illegal Immigration. But what MSM doesn't get-we don't pay attention to opinion polls-because they're tainted. And it's up to us to keep illegal immigration front and center in our news cycle. I'm going to write letters to my local newspaper, the USA Today and any other publication. They may not all be printed (if any) but this is a message to MSM that we're not caving on the most important issue that faces this great nation!
God Bless the USA and all those who put themselves in harms way to protect and defend us!

Fr,this is just a friendly debate about the protest thing.I believe it is multi- reason why people don't protest,it's not because they live near a bad area because they are not protesting with any great numbers all over the country. One reason why I believe is most Americans today have a short attention span.Example:Do you remember how everyone was after 911,all the patiotism, now what do you see?We need to feel that way all the time. Here is the greatest reason:Our four fathers the immigrants have paved the way and made our life so easy, most are worrying about what time the game starts or riding our A.T.V'S on the weekend. All you have to do is talk to a legitimant new citizen and you will see the passion for our great country, this is the real reason we are in danger. One mans opinion.

I know how you must feel. I have found that in Phoenix, the cops are out in real force when we run a protest. Thank God. The last one I was at they were like stink on s**t when an illegal slapped at one of us. The Patriots Border Alliance has a code of conduct and we really try to stick to it, and are reminded of it all the time.

I realize this is a friendly debate, as was my answer. I agree their are many reasons people don't protest..but I don't believe all Americans are as shallow as you do. My generation (Viet Nam era) didn't need 9/11 to re-enforce our patriotism - we remember how the government screwed us!
I absolutely disagree that new legit citizens have all the passion for our country....LULAC and the likes of them have been pushing everyone that is eligible (and some that aren't!!!) to become citiens, register to vote then vote for pro-illegals....sorry, but I took off my rose-colored glasses a very long time ago -I lost hope with my government but not my country or the American people.
Fr,this will be it for me and wanted to say these last things:As far as being from the vietnam era the huge protests were for peace and anti-war,not so much being patriotic I think it's like any other generation, you either are ,are your not but like my self can become with the exception of world war two.Now for new legitimant citizens, please notice I said legitimant.I am fully aware of the undermining in or immigration system

Wow, wish I lived nearer to either of those cities being in Tennessee. Anyone know of any protest near Nashville, Tennessee??? Please let me know if you do!!!

Well, you should all know that out of 103 people who have viewed this thread, not a single one has contacted March for America. I apologize to get negative on this, but we are bewildered by this. - Jonnie
Boy, it is getting to be a toss up as to which foreign nation is going to control our policies more, the oil cartels or the mexicans!
Lets hope the news media covers this and irritates even MORE Americans against illegals, and we can finally get those quesitons of Sessions into the mainstream! Frankly, I wish Sessions has the cash to publish those questions in a big full page ad in every major paper in the country!
If you have to hyphenate your race--you are NOT an American!! This from a French-German-English-Irish-AMERICAN! See how silly this can become?

That's a great point, but which MSM newspaper would print it? They're all bought and paid for! When the Gathering of Eagles counter-protested some in D. C., they barely got air time on main stream media outlets-even FOX!!!!!
Free Press-HAH! Free to lull us into idiocy! And they don't care about America-none of them!!!!!! May God HELP US, rid ourselves of these LEACHES!
God Bless the USA and all those who put themselves in harms way to protect and defend us!

THere is nothing happening in your state, I dont' have any organizer's there. Would you like to organize a protest there? Do you have any contacts with local Minutemen or anti-illegal immigration groups? If not, do you have a circle of friends who would be willing to protest with you?
